    A little advice please

No it was my fault, my comment wasnt very clear, it was misleading. I was coming from my experience of vaping shop bought juice at 80 vg against my mixing at 50vg. Thinking about it that's probably due to all the sweetners in the juice causing the coil to gunk up quicker.

Thank you @Katya. My comment about High VG wasnt very clear. I meant High VG with Flavour. I dont vape flavourless liquid. I normally vape 50/50. Interesting to know that vaping flavourless greatly increases coil life.

Good point. Doing the opposite to that will help also. Just before you finish drawing, release the fire button, this will pull the juice back thru the wick ready for when you vape again.

I recon that worktop is too high as that poor girl is having to stand on tip toes to make her coffee. Strange really as she seems quite tall against the wall cabinets. Maybe I will just have to gaze at the photo in more detail to see what's a miss lol

    A little advice please

Hi Brian, welcome to the Forum. A burnt coil is normally identified by the horrible taste when drawing on it. Signs of a coil on it's way out is a loss of vapour and the need to increase the wattage to get the same vape. And the tank starting to leak more that it would normally. If coils are...

My chargers are Nitecore, Xtar and Effest. I have lots of different makes of batteries and have to say my LG yellow ones are the main culprits. I will open up to being a bit ham fisted or heavy handed at times so maybe it's my fault. Sometimes I insert and remove my batteties one handed which...

I'd never laugh, always best to be safe. I had a battery short in an old Smok mod that you had to unscrew the Allen key screws out to replace the battery. Cant remember the model but that went into thermal runaway. I threw it out into the garden., not a pretty sight.

A lot of folk will just dispose of a battery when it's looking shabby and pick up a new one. The main thing to always observe is that the wrap is in good condition and not damaged exposing parts of the metal casing. When it is, dont use it as it could be dangerous, either rewrap or dispose.

I did go a fair while before I started doing it. A few of my batteries were beginning to look a bit worse for wear. My other reason was to make matched pairs look unique so they could not get mixed up with others.

You've been told now . Nothing like a good challenge in trying to stop those insulators flying across the other side of the room when you point the hair drier at it.

    Batteries not lasting as long

Sorry for doubting you. Not seen a D2 with leds before. I bought my D2 and D4 about 5yrs ago now and both had the LCD screen. Both are very slow chargers with small charging current. As you said, confusing.
