    In my opinion, any mod that was not designed to use IMR batteries should not be using them. You've got no short circuit protection and have no idea if the components, e.g. springs, switches, soldering, etc., in the mod can take the many-times-higher instantaneous current the IMR battery...

    I've never had a Provari. The functionality is the same, so I suspect it would not show 5V if you measure it. If it does, then measure your 2ohm dual-coil cartomizer to see what it really is, it may be higher than 2ohms.

    High-drain and IMR's are the same thing. Oh, no, I didn't fret over this mod, I have bunches, have made quite a few and have created designs for other modders. I'd gotten this one to demo it in one of my video reviews, to throw some support to the modder. But thanks a bunch!

    Good advise FishmanTX. But ya know, I'm still on my mission to remove "condom" from the vaping vocabulary. It's a boot or bootie. Like I've said many times before, if that's a condom, what are you putting in your mouth?!! :)
