It has been a rough February. DD's cat, Apollo had every test and feeding tube but still declined rapidly until he passed. No reason was determined. At the same time, my pug, Miali developed an eye infection and had to have an eye removed when it ruptured.
If anyone doesn't know, the reason packages go to out of the way places is the truck doesn't stop at local post offices but goes to a main 'hub' where they are then routed to your area. Example, all my packages coming from the west coast will pass right by me in middle TN and go east to...
She would have glasses off in less than 3 seconds.
I like mine, have had it for over 10 years. Can't get to it right now but I will try to get a pic later.
Thanks for asking, @Janet H
Miali is doing great. She is so rowdy, I am afraid of her hurting herself. I will have scars from her banging into my legs with the cone. The hardest part is keeping the two dogs separated when they both want to be under my feet at all times.
You are right about...
Miali is a combo of my first pug, Milo and my beloved min pin, Ali. Ali's registered name was 'Million Dollar Baby' because that is about what it cost trying to repair a broken leg he got before I adopted him from my dd. Hence 'Ali', the fighter and from the movie MDB.
The Niro is a great car and I am sorry I traded. Today I got 23 mpg as opposed to the Niro at 53.
Fortunately, I got back from Nashville before too much snow fell. Tough day trying to decide what to do about Miali. Finally took her to a specialist in Nashville and had the eye removed as it...
Thank you. It was a very stressful day that I won't go into but finally got her seen and now on medication. I am hopeful that there isn't scaring or permanent damage to the eye. I am about 1k poorer like I needed that. They really do a number while you are at their mercy. They wanted to charge...
Snow this morning and my pug has an eye injury. Waiting to get her into the emergency vet. Why do these things always happen on a weekend? I hope they can save her eye. Don't know what happened, probably got scratched by the shih tzu.
I dunno but since I no longer have the car, I have quit researching a fix for it. They are great cars though and yes, I gave up 53 mpg to get about 30 mpg. Doesn't impact me a lot since I drive very little but dd puts a lot of miles on.
Everything is a trade off, I drove them nuts trying to...
No, it was a hybrid but as I understand it, prior to '23 models couldn't be turned down. the dealer tried, no luck. It would have to be disabled which is a liability so no go.
