FT those fires that "magically" started - I get it if it's that dry there. A few years ago half the state of Texas was on fire. I was pretty scared, being surround by acres of dead and dried out vegetation. The humidity got down to around 3 or 4, I'd never heard of it being that low before...

I also have quite a few Mexican Plum trees. They're not very big but they have bloomed every year since I've been here. The flowers are beautiful, and the smell is heavenly - very similar to honeysuckle scent. This year was the first time they actually produced fruit though - I think...

One of the big reasons I bought my current home a few years ago was because of all the trees. 4 acres and hundreds of trees!! Most of them are White Oak, and some look a lot like this pic...
Blight has been spreading in this area, but so far my trees are good... (knock on wood lol)
I guess it depends on where you are and you guys must be lucky.
My company ships a lot of stuff every day - about 2/3 of the pkgs go by UPS or FedEx, and 1/3 by Priority Mail. But about 80% (or more) of delivery problems are with USPS. We have complaints EVERY DAY about USPS pkgs being late...

Good morning!
I thought about this thread when I went for my 2nd cup of coffee this morning. I got to see a nice buck and 2 does in the trees near my barn. This isn't my pic, but it's close enough to what I saw. I love living in the country!
