I've been reading a lot in this thread that folks are experiencing leaking with the Kanger subtanks. I can say from personal experience, that as long as the orings are good shape and not installed upside down, they shouldn't leak. I have 4 of them and have never had one leak from any of them.
I...
Since you're using a Subox with a subtank as part of the kit, they do go through a lot of juice, but that goes hand-in-hand with vapor production. If you're getting juice in your mouth, turn up the wattage a bit. The .5ohm coils work between 15 to 30 watts, but I like mine at 25 personally.
Flooded was my thoughts exactly. It depends on how old the coil is too. If junk has built up, it will flood, or sound like it is and not give a very good vape either.
What device are you using and what type of coil?
You said it's the fifth or sixth fill? Coils do simply wear out. They can...
The one thing to remember is that heat changes the nicotine and darkens it. I have to say out of all the methods I've tried. Nothing is as good as a dark cool place for a week or so, shaking it once a day.
When I started vaping, I had the same questions. I found many setups that worked in...

So many ideas!
Don't EVER worry about "not doing it right" in this case. If it works for you and you're getting a satisfying vape....then it's good! Everyone vapes differently and some go through just a few mils of juice, while others...well yes me, LOL, might suck down over 10 to 15 mils a day.
I'm not so sure about the setting of 60 watts, wattage or Joules only works in so much that it quickens the ramp up time, but you could set it for 40 and probably get the same vape from it. Once your coil hits the set temp (in this case 490) it will regulate the wattage down to simply maintain...
For around that price, the Snow Wolf mod would be a great buy!
Search Google for snow wolf 200w. As mentioned above, all devices have their pros and cons.
Sites vary on price from $100 to $130.
If this is your first dive into temp control, just remember that TC only works with Nickel coils...
That's what I do during the work week. I'm one of the few people who are allowed to enjoy vaping in my office. I don't want to over-do-it by creating mass clouds as you get with dripping, but a more consistent vape with tanks, Primarily Kanger Subtanks at work.
Drippers typically create more...
You didn't mention on what atty you're using. What the Ohms of your build are and I get the feeling that you're just starting out on this adventure??? That's great!!, but....
I cannot stress enough how important battery knowledge and safety really are. Your current battery (ultrafire) is fine...
Best advice I can give you....
Look up reputable vape shops in your area. A good shop has folks who love to vape and love getting people switched over as best as possible. They should be very knowledgeable on vape gear (whether they carry it or not). They should ask you a few questions to...
Been there done that! I have also gone back to just simple builds and stopped making complex ones like claptons and such. Sometimes, simple is better. Coils really aren't that difficult and don't over think it.
It actually makes perfect sense.
All I can say is don't feel guilty about it. It's not smoking and it's SOOOOO much better for you. Plus, I look at it this way; if chewing is gross (which I agree it is, and I used to chew myself). Your wife will truly appreciate it and might even like the...
