RDA, but i cant get flavor when is hot.
I just got back into dripping… and want to build again… i used to build aliens, staggertons etc… Staggertons were kinda my “height” in skill. They were hard I felt. I have alotta spools of wire.. ribbon too. The last I built was in like 2016… so wire is hard to get now?.. covid and everything? -
Dripper Recommendations
I am looking for dripper recommendations. The last thread was 2018. Do people even drip still?.. I settled on Velocity RDas… anyone have any advice on anything built since? I switched to salt nics but hate them. Back to juices and drippers. Thanks!! -

took long enough!!!... yes, i had done all you listed... i did rewick the thing, and prior, dryfired to dryout water... i tried to jiggle it more, but, nothing. I just chucked it and built some other coils in its place. All good though. thanks for reply brother : )- Penumbra

How To Clapton 3 cores and Keep em Flat?
I tried a fused-clap variation today (in the attempt to lead up to the beloved alien). I decided to try and clapton 3 cores, as opposed to the 2 on a standard fused. Let me tell ya'.. not easy at all to keep the 3 cores flat, and prevent them from collapsing into a triangular-shapd core...- Penumbra

Clapton coil build question.
you are right about venturing off... man o man. Currently though, I am having trouble claptoning 3 cores. Keeping them flat, and preventing them from collapsing into a triangle proved to be less than simple. This was my first try though (3-26Ni80 X 40gNi80)... all in preparation for the...- Penumbra

you guys are missing the boat on all this. First off, rip trippers is a pansy... "im gonna clapton a guitar string first, then de-core it, cuz the kanthal core is to hard to clapton (at the speed of an invalid I might add), so this makes it easier..." well, he could spend less time scamming...- Penumbra

Fused Clapton... 3 Teeny Tiny Clapton wire Hotspots OK?
I just finished installing a fused-clapton coil. The wire is a 26-gauge NiCr80 core claptoned with 36-gauge NiCr80. After installing and dry-firing, its heating perfectly from the inside-out, but there are 3 teeny-tiny hotspots... basically, there are 3 separate clapton wraps that are...- Penumbra
