That is exactly what we mean. It's not as hard as you'd think. Drip a little juice on the end to minimize fraying. Then just find the hole and stick it in :p lol. works best when you bunch it up a bit at the end, pull it up, bunch up some more till you have enough in, and then you're done. I...- K-man

It's 2 mill eko. Takes some getting used to sliding the wick in but it's not too hard. Then a bit of juice on the tip and twist it in from the top. Bottom up would definitely be easier but not so much so that it would be worth the trouble of removing the tank.- K-man

Hey Aaron. It's a thin SS mesh inside ekowool (didn't have any Nextel ceramic). It's a shorter mesh just for stability and the rest in the tank is the eko. Then just wrap your coil over it. Works great.- K-man
