    Not sure why you can't. I have charged mine several times with an ego charger thru the 510 connector. The only issue I have had with mine is the chrome plate coming off the bottom, and the rubber around the fire button is starting to rip. Mine does not see heavy use.

    Good looking unit. Although the o-ring on the top baffles me. So far it produces great flavor and awesome vapor. As mentioned earlier the draw is airy. I would rate it a 5 on a scale of 1-10. I think it looks good on top of the VAMO!

    I have both, and the end caps appear identical. Just the spring was changed out for a larger one. Maybe they would be willing to offer the spring. However I just put a couple of these on the top of the battery and problem solved.

    The chrome one is my first Vamo from DV. I need two Rare Earth Magnets to keep a firm rattle free connection. The Gun Metal is the second Vamo from DV. It has the larger spring. However I still use one magnet. If I shook it hard without any magnets it would loose contact and turn it off...
