For .35 coils in Atlantis/Melo/Triton style stock vertical animizers I build 26g SS316L parallel coils, (two wires wrapped exactly side by side) 5 1/2 wraps on a 5mm mandrel. Not exactly what you asked but will give you the idea. CHEERS
I collect boxes. Just think of yourself as a box collector also! LOL I go through mine every six months or so and throw some out. If I have a tank I keep the extra seals and glass in them. If someone needs a power cord I go through the boxes to grab one. If I think I may give something away...
Had a few days with the Ammit and all I can say is "WOW what a tank!" Tried a .3 Zipper coil and now have a .45 alien coil in it. For a single coil tank it chucks the vape. I have the Daedalus coil builder and I wanted a single coil tank so fooling around I could install one coil and get proper...
I put nicotine, flavorings, PG all by syringe then I top up with VG right out of a 120ml squeeze bottle. Easier than sucking up VG in a syringe. CHEERS!
Got my Ammit tank today. Built a .3 Zipper coil for it a few days ago. With the Ammit and Griffin 25 Plus what else would one ever need for a tank. Gave away all my Smok tanks a month ago. Want to get a second Ammit just for testing new coil builds then if I like it as a single coil I can go...
I absolutely love the Geek Vape Griffin 25 plus. Got a Geek Vape Ammit (single coil) on the way. They are both rebuildables. As stated above you can never go wrong with either Clieto Tank. I also gave up on Smok tanks for the same reason of to much fuss and leaking with them. CHEERS!
Gr8 tanks but I out grew them as they were the Cadillac of tanks in their day. Went to sub0hms and now required plumbs of vape. Kayfuns is where I learned to rebuild and still own 8 Kayfuns. They will remain on "my history of vaping" shelf. CHEERS!
I also use the rebuildable. Dryburn and new cotton and off and running for another two or three days. I have dryburned and rewicked mine about 15 times still using the original coils it came with. As for stock coils I recoil and rewick them as well. I just install the new coil and cotton through...
Dry hits are certainly not nice. But if you never get any dry hits you are not pushing the envelope trying for the very best vape you can get. Build new fancy coils and turn it up to see what the coils and wick can handle together. Can usually tell when a dry hit is on it way and stop vaping and...
I had a 30ml bottle givin to me that tasted like dead fish that were flopping around in my boat for a week. Took two days to get the taste out of my mouth. Absolutely discussing and could not believe a company would even send it out as a sample in hopes to make it on the store shelf. Only bottle...
Hope it was not his money pocket. Defacing government currency is a crime! :)
Once again reminds me of a Christmas song, "Chessnuts roasted by an open fire." :)
Grind it down??????? You kidding????? Newbie joins forum an this is advice???? Somethings just make you say hmmmmm! LOL Pins on the Smok tanks are super long and likely going down to far and shorting it out. Unscrew tank and if it fires loose you will have to get a spacer for between mod and...
All the responces surprise me. A clone tank for ten dollars. Just buy a half dozen new subtank clones or one authentic which comes with a spare glass. There is ussually a reason clones are cheap. LOL CHEERS!
I just rebuild mine. Bit of a pain but if you get them done and working you can rebuild just about any coil produced. Pretty well all coils are rebuilt the same way. Way back when I never found cleaning them worked very well. Good luck to you. CHEERS!
Don't notice wicks catching but after I use once I throw them out and install a new one. I buy them with a wire on opposite and diagonal ends for installing them vertical. I have never used notch coils horizontal or in a dripper/RDTA. Just use them in stock replacement atomizers. Hope this...
I keep .6 , .4 and .2 Notch coils. I love them for rebuilding stock vertical coils. I use the .4 in Atlantis/Triton/Melo3 style coils. .6 rebuild my Joytech AIO coils. .2 rebuild my Joytech Delta 2 coils. So easy to install and they lightup super fast. I always keep about 30 of each notch coils...
Not sure if they will fit or not.
I rebuild mine with .6 notch coils from FastTech. Walmart organic cotton pads around the outside for the wick. Works excellent. Good luck in your venture.
