    Centering the tank will affect the ability to use a 3/16" wick, but if you offset the tank to the wick hole side it should fit. Yes the spring connection works great, am a fan since it was my original idea :) Dan

    Ok this is a 20mm OD 1.2mm walled pyrex cut to 15mm in height. I then epoxied on (2) 20mm silicon orings to each end. Since there is no oring groove for the orings to sit in, I figured heck epoxy them to the end, that will stop them sliding. Then just replace the plastic tank and screw it...
