That brass is so nice CC...buy it off ya? You have to shave the bottom edge off the Derringer base...go seamless ;)

T I agree with Studio, I can't speak for all but for me I currently have 2 mods running IIs (Ian's Indicators), with more coming down the road, I hear I got a couple letter with Aussi post marks waiting for me woot!. Unless I make some really odd mod or it's reg'd these are now standard...

I prefer to read forum posts not tapatalk's ads...I agree with Asdaq, tapatalk has become a junk app, and with so many forums switching over to desktop/mobile friendly platforms I'd say they're not long left in this world...their niche is evaporating

Tell me about it, I have to remember to change my image size back on my Note3 (ya, that's my camera )...but I kind of get it, unless ECF wants to run a server farm the size of google they have to limit... One thing I will give this platform is it's ability to run on either a desktop...

REO Woodvil & Derringer - Adjust to sit flush, help needed.

I don't mean to speak for Turbo but sinking the post typically requires driving the post out and either use the drill/file method, or if you have a lathe...but unless the rda has a really wonky 510 it can limit what other mods it will work on. I also see he chamfered the contact end which is a...

REO Woodvil & Derringer - Adjust to sit flush, help needed.

That's not true. There is so much inconsistency in the device world as far as length of their 510 connectors Rob (or any other mod builder) couldn't possibly create a connector that is a one size fits all...and that is taking into consideration his adjustable 510... Remember ERA's?...they had a...

REO Woodvil & Derringer - Adjust to sit flush, help needed.

Not at all, in fact I've often wondered why the center pin is notched...it really serves no purpose unless decreasing the surface area of the connection point and increasing v drop is the goal?

REO Woodvil & Derringer - Adjust to sit flush, help needed.

You can also get a pack of various grade wet/dry sand paper (say 220 to 600 grit), wet the sand paper and lay it on a flat surface, hold your Derringer (or any RDA) upright as possible and run the 510 end in a figure "8" pattern on it. The figure "8" will keep the bottom of the 510 relatively...

Hey Johnny, can you up pics that are bigger (or can be clicked on to expand?). I'd really like to see how you built your RDA and how it's connected.

One thing you could look at the next time you are at the bike shop (especially if they sell other sporting equipment)...take a look at those needles you inflate sports balls with. Slip one in a drill and shape it up the threaded connector with a file while it's spinning...

The main issue here is that vaping and taste are very much subjective concepts I even have a hard time with my own subjectivity...I run multiple Derringers and I have them set up differently on a couple to effectively "increase" harshness...which is driven by the flavour of the juice and the...

Pretty interesting stuff and while I'm certainly no expert on fluid dynamics (in fact I'm not even an amateur) I've done my share of mucking about with coil placement with respect to airflow while pondering turbulence and such. I just wonder if the size of the interior of an rda and relative air...

Such a subjective thing but I'll throw my :2c: in...I've found for flavour the under air RDA's like the Lancia and Magma really perform...both (especially the Magma) eclipse the D in both size and weight but if you can get past that it's hard to go wrong with them if flavour is your thing.

You got rid of the wrap around the top?...Awww...it gave it that "post apocalyptic" edge...now you're just pandering to the neo-Victorians and their lily gilding :D Jk ...that brass band must have been fun to make?...I tried once to make a cosmetic thin batt tube from brass shim...

I built the zebra from a blank Rob sold me, just the door was routed in and that's it, no holes. I wanted to keep it Reo as possible so I did install one of his woodvil 510's then I just faced the catch cup off but I didn't want his switch...the flush button tact is great, though it maybe a...

Thanks a lot...now I need to buy a :censored: TIG welder (then learn how to use it)...my dad has one and do I ever suck at welding, I made a pair of custom saddle bag brackets for my bike...the dude at the plating shop just laughed when he saw them. nice weld...did you have to re-vent it or did...

Tell me about it...but with work I live out of a laptop bag and there's this pocket that perfectly holds 3 dibi/reo type mods...I do have some side buttons but they have to be recessed...I miss my old GG style pinky button sometimes. With that you can fire and squonk at the same time...that's...
