Anybody using these new midget mods?

I just don't usually go for internal batteries these days, but it depends I guess. My smallest mods are probably my iStick 30W or Pico (Pico is shorter but wider) but I do have a few Picos and love them. I'd consider one of the super tiny internal-battery mods if I could get it for a pretty low...

@DaveP I don't think so... I thought the 200S was three battery only, but since I don't actually own one I don't know. I don't really see the benefit of using two batteries beyond getting to use a pair you may have instead of a trio, because the enclosure is the same either way. Are you updated...

Sorry, I did indeed mean 23mm max for the Pico, although really it's "meant"/rated for 22mm atomizers to give them a touch of clearance AFAIK. Either way, yes, it will fit most 23mm atomizers. I have not seen anyone say that the Mega can take larger and the full-sized Melo 3 that comes with it...

    RDA Your most pleasant surprises?

What's an RDA or two that exceeded your low expectations? Why were they low? How did they impress you? If you knew before you got it that you'd love it, that's a story for another day. I can think of two standouts: The first is my Tobeco Velocity clone. I guess I wouldn't say I had the lowest...

@TheWestPole as far as I know, it's also 22mm, but please let us know if that is not the case. From what I've seen, I was under the impression the tank-size limitations were not addressed on the mega. Indeed, it seems to taper out to accommodate the 26650. @Kyi I take out my battery unless I...

    Tesla Invader Mini Mod

@Kprthevapr I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything, you're referring to the 4nine in Minty's last post, yes? ed: nvm I see it has a hybrid topcap now.

    Tesla Invader Mini Mod

Yeah, I don't know nearly enough to guess what's going on with that tube but I surely know enough to commend you for not continuing to use it. I wouldn't use it again unless you can get someone with a solid electrical background to look at it and possibly do some heavy modding. It sucks when...

    Coil installation question

FLUSH CUTTERS, thank you @McAnythingReally, I couldn't think of the name. Jeez. I really don't have much else to add because there's a lot of good advice above but yeah, just try it with the staggered post holes. I swear it will be a night and day difference. Again, the lead going through the...

@Mactavish just so we know, what exactly was in your order? This is making me nervous about ordering from overseas.

    Coil installation question

Just move the second coil a bit so the lead doesn't go through it, or else keep the leads a little shorter. That's a small price to pay for the benefits to using the staggered post holes. Certainly it will help get those coils more centered but you need to do whatever works best for you.

    Tesla Invader Mini Mod

Depending on what you're looking for, Tesla makes a number of other similar mods that probably don't cost much more and may be a little more aesthetically pleasing. There was another Invader that took 26650s and 186650s (either/or) and I don't think had the overhang, but is obviously bigger. I...

Hmmm... I'll have to check mine. I think mine fits better than that. It's definitely tight and there's a bit of a gap at the top but nothing too terrible. I've got 3 batts in there right now but when they've run down I'll double check how mine looks. Not to make you feel bad or anything but I'm...

    Tesla Invader Mini Mod

I got mine from DirectVapor for $19.99 and again, it's pretty brand new but everything seems fine except for the tight battery bay and lack of ribbon. I may try to install a ribbon... but my bay isn't awful awful either. I managed to get my Samsung 25Rs out OK but it was definitely tight. Like...

    Tesla Invader Mini Mod

I just got one in the mail today and other than the overhang, it is working as I expected. Did you ever get yours performing the way you wanted or are you still having trouble? The biggest thing I found is that the connection seemed a little hard to make with a few RDAs at first but it's been...

Yeah, and SS definitely does not tend to work like that. At least for my vaping style, mods that have a little more power tend to work a bit better with stainless but it depends. I really will try out one of those Ti heads again soon. I just don't like building with it, personally.

What's the resistance, out of curiosity? And you're hitting temp protection at 75W? or? I usually use celsius but depending on the coil I have to set it relatively cool if I want the temp protection to work how it's supposed to... but I'm mostly using stainless. I have some nickel that I don't...

    Coil installation question

Yeah, first of all, I didn't realize you were talking about a split positive post. That's at least better than a three post, three post-hole set-up. Instead of using the positive post hole closer to the negative, use the one on the far side. This makes things so much easier. It will force your...

    New to istick pico

I only just saw someone mention it the other day and again, not sure if it made it under the August 8th date. I do love the idea of having the option for single or dual... I got the impression it's basically a 75W mod in single-batt mode and 150W mod in dual mode.

Is it your 2-batt enclosure that is stiff? Mine is, but the 3-batt enclosure went on much easier. Thanks for the measurements!

Well, and no matter how you slice it, a Pico is not a DNA75... but very interesting. Hmm.
