Built my first dual coil need help!

It could have been partially caused by a loose connection if your coils were no longer coming up as .31ohms. For example, if you had it set at 60W and with a loose connection the reading suddenly shot up to 1ohms, the voltage the mod calculates from those numbers will be a lot higher. If it was...

Has RIPTrippers ever responded on his Sigelei 213 review?

I can't say for sure, but my guess is no. I can't remember Rip responding directly to almost anything, historically. Otherwise, what @Baditude said. Phil is good. I watch other reviewers but usually try to cross-check with PBusardo whenever possible.

I lock. Definitely with Ti and Ni... sometimes I don't with SS, mostly to test. I haven't noticed a huge difference when I've tried not locking with SS and the others I haven't tried "unlocked." Personally I wouldn't try that either, unless the mod is missing a lock function altogether. I...

While I think we established that there SHOULD be no problem, I am 100% confirming the Melo 3 fits, and works great on, the Pico. Sorry for the hand-check!

I've got one in the Lemo 3 on my Pico in Temp mode right now (preset SS mode) and it's working great. @Gramdogg I was talking about the newer VTC that can take either one or two batteries, as in has two different enclosures to be a single OR dual-18650 mod. Are we talking about the same thing...

just got new ipv6 - what settings should i use?

You should start at a low wattage, say 20W, and work your way up slowly until you find a vape that satisfies you. That's about all anyone can say; vaping is so personal and what satisfies me may not satisfy you, or what satisfies me may make you want to choke. I usually vape .5ohm Atlantis...

    Noisy Cricket II!!

Oh, I missed it... also nice that it looks like it will take 25mm toppers flush? Did the first do that?

    Noisy Cricket II!!

I like the option for parallel or series but more importantly, I make it a personal rule not to use hybrid top caps. Just too easy for something to go wrong. I'm honestly not sure how someone could find this not-simple when theoretically if you don't want to change it, you just set it and leave...

Yep I have two Picos too, they're great. I'm hoping to get one of the newer VTCs that take 1 or 2 batteries... but not sure if they'll be available in the US or if it will have to be done through China.

Ideas on other tanks or another mod? You're right the Pico won't take 24 or 25mm tanks. The Melo 3 is pretty good though and I just got a Lemo 3 which I'm not 100% sure will fit, but should... and I'm also pretty certain the Lemo 3 has a larger deck than a lot of other 22mm RTAs, plus takes the...

    Coil installation question

Bending the legs is going to be the way to get them neatest, for sure. They don't have to be perfectly centered to work, though, as long as your wick fits. Most of the time I build in my three-posts I don't bother getting the coils absolutely centered as long as they are close, firing well, and...

No problem. If you are interested in using Temp Control in the future, THESE (either type), and THESE will work. The Temp Control works pretty well on the Pico. It just happens not to come with TC-capable coils, is all. You made a good choice with that mod IMO. :)

No, not with those coils. There's no reason you can't mess with it as long as you have appropriate coils but those simply won't work in temperature mode. Three clicks of the fire button will bring you to the mode menu, and then you can select either wattage or bypass for those coils. "Wattage"...

If you're talking about the .3 coil that came with the kit, that is a kanthal coil and not meant to be used in TC mode. Use it in normal power mode, anywhere from 25-75W depending on preference. If and when you have a coil that CAN be used in temperature mode (Nickel, Titanium, or Stainless...

I believe the Wismec Theorem holds about 2.7-3mL of juice. I don't see why it wouldn't work with a higher resistance coil, but certainly some tanks do better with higher resistance than others. Kayfuns and kayfun style (the v1 Subtank/Subtank Mini RDAs are Kayfun style) are basically meant for...

    RX 2/3 Owner's Thread

That's so interesting you found the threads/connection on the 200S to be the worst. I thought I read that those were the same connection they used on the DNA200 models. I suppose that doesn't preclude it from being bad, but still. I will say the connector on the 2/3 isn't the best or anything...

@Clark Kent I have not seen sleeves for the 2-battery mode yet, but if you find any please let us know! I'd like one too. Funny, my all-black original RX200 is also my workhorse. It has done just great and I don't even use a sleeve. (Long story, mostly my fault, mostly use RDAs and kept...

Yes, I noticed a similar issue with the paint being a little patchy on the top of the inside/scratching off a tad just from trying to fiddle the 2 door on the back. It's a little tough getting that on but the 3 batt door went on more easily and with a more satisfying click. Hopefully the 2 door...

    Looking for small RTA

@HootOwl the biggest one I'm thinking of is my Tugboat 2 clone (a "Flawless Steamboat) from 101Vape. It's really quite good for a $17 atomizer. The post holes are a little small but for MtL that's not really an issue with the size wire one would normally use. Personally I think that's the best...

    Eleaf iStick "pico"

I do really like the Melo 3 (Mini), so this isn't a knock, but I actually find the 0.3 ohm heads to work best for me around 50-55W and the 0.5s I can push higher, more like 70 or 80 (if I want)... it's a little counter-intuitive but even with those four holes they're not the beeesssttttt wickers...
