Meh, probably not really. And the highest resistance atomizer they make for it is a .5 IIRC so that's not really meant for MTL. You can certainly try though. I didn't realize you were looking for MTL; it's definitely more of a lung-hitter or maybe sort of in-between direct lung and MTL at the...

@Kyi you made a good choice I think, both getting the original and getting the tank for a good price. I really love the Melo 3, personally I think it was a big improvement over the 2, at least in some ways. They're both good tanks, but the 3 gets the win from me. Nice airflow, good flavor, and...

I'm with @sawlight, I would (and did) go for the original. The screen is perfectly readable and the fire button is good, too. Almost anything can be upgraded, but that doesn't mean it needs to be. "If it ain't broke don't fix it" etc. etc. :) Saw is there a new "iStick mini" out/coming out or...

I totally agree. Not only are there plenty of people who still truly use lower power, I think it's easy for those who often use higher power to forget that for most of us, it's still entirely possible to get a satisfying vape at comparatively low wattage with the right topper. I mean some folks...

    RX2/3 510 Pin

Good to know, thanks! So far everything I've put on there has been OK. I've got a couple of atomizers, notably my Twisted Messes, with crazy long pins that I might not even try on the 2/3 until it's good and old. Pretty sure my TM basically broke the spring-loaded connectors in my SMOK M80 (PoS...

@Ed_C Yeah, that's all I'm saying, and I definitely don't think you're wrong that a) there are plenty of people who purchase based primarily on hype and b) for a long while now, the vaping industry and vaping public have been moving towards higher and higher power. I just think there is still a...

Really? I feel like there have been a number of 30-40W devices around relatively recently. Even the BilletBox Rev 4 still uses a DNA40W board (though whether or not that was the best move is debatable). I can't speak for anyone else, but I like supersubohming plenty and I still get lots of use...

For anyone who missed it, there is ALSO now (or soon will be) a Pico squonker, but it seems to be basically an unregulated with protection. I can see how that would still definitely be more attractive to some than the Mega, but I personally have other squonkers and never really got into it the...

Right, exactly, that's part of why it's so silly. Why it isn't 80W across the board (at the very least!) is ridiculous. It also implicitly says "our original mod really pushes the boundaries of safety," if 'an 18650 can't handle 80W' (in their minds), neither of which are true. I honestly think...

It's not worth it. I don't own one but my friend does. Unless you have 26650s laying around that you don't want to waste, it's a silly upgrade. As Jim says, it doesn't really fix the problem of the battery cap in any appreciable way. It only upgrades the wattage by 5W. It doesn't do anything...

    RX2/3 510 Pin

IMO that's really not a bad thing... I've had many frustrations with tanks not making a connection. We'll see how the 2/3 connector holds up but at least on mine, I'd barely call it a wobble. More like I can feel it shift slightly if I press too hard but it's pretty solid all things considered.

Mech mods are not electronic cigarettes

Right, if anything I would be more inclined to put certain devices with non-removable batteries into a "more dangerous" category. I still use them, but I understand the risk I am taking and accept that risk. Same with any other device, really. There are risks with regulated mods as well as...

Mech mods are not electronic cigarettes

So, anecdotal evidence stated in a way to support your claims. How scientific of you. I'm sorry, that might be a little rude, but seriously: I've probably read more instances of regulated mods having serious trouble than mechs, all over this forum and others. That's partially because more...

    Looking for small RTA

Well, let us know what you find and if you're still having trouble, donating our time to help is what we do here. It's really no big deal. So, this last thing is completely separate from your current question. I understand you want a tank, don't drip, and my next question/suggestion is not...

    Looking for small RTA

I'm going to do a little bit of searching for you and I'll try to get back. One thing I'll say is don't rule RTAs that are possibly "meant" for subohming; I'm sure you know this but really the question for you is how far you can close off the airflow for MTL. Certainly a lot of tanks won't be...

    Looking for small RTA

I just edited my post to include a recommendation, but I realized the STM is probably taller than you're looking for :/ The Subtank nano doesn't have a deck so I wouldn't necessarily recommend that as a first choice, but that would fit without a beauty ring (it's 18mm I think) and uses the same...

    Looking for small RTA

I'm pretty sure all Provaris (tubes, not the radius) are 22mm. I know the older versions have the tapered top; I have a v2. My point is that if you're concerned about aesthetics, picking up a beauty ring may open your options some. There are some shorter 22mm tanks that might fit the bill if I'm...

    Noisy Cricket II!!

I think people have been complaining way too much about the Wismec connectors considering the price these mods sell for. I have a number of devices from them and have plenty of atomizers with longer pins and have yet to have an issue with any of them. You know, since I use some common sense...

    RX 2/3 Owner's Thread

I didn't see one, so here it is! I feel like this model is sufficiently different to warrant its own thread, but if not please remove or merge. I own an original RX200 which is still working dandy (I'm probably lucky that I don't use SMOK tanks...) and reviewed the 200S, but don't own one. My...

    RX2/3 510 Pin

I don't own the 200S but I got to review it and I just got my 2/3 (purchased)... the connectors seem quite the same, but it's hard to say of course. I had read that the 200S connector was the same as on the DNA200 body and I can't really imagine they went backwards, but I have no idea. I'm not...
