    I think the reason I went 3.0 is because I read somewhere that the V2 cartridges were 2.7 and didn't want to go less than that because I also read that going low resistance could ruin the battery. Reading stuff is dangerous, huh?

    I have been rocking cigalike batteries exclusively thus far (just ordered a Volt X2). Have mainly used carts and clears from company (v2) but purchased some blanks from a different vender.     I would like to thank everyone for their help and information. I ended up ordering the Volt X2 mainly for compatibility with existing stuff. Next month, I think I will get an ego twist to break into the VV and 510 markets. After that....caravela mod. Found a video of it and fell madly madly...

    I do not have a X2 yet....that would be my "further". Was just wondering if that was well regarded before I ordered, or if there was something else that people generally go with post-cigalike batteries.
