That's cool, and a good job if they can get reliable enough measurements. I suspected so once I saw their recommendation for using coils only of 0.5Ω and I above - so they can look for 0.00125Ω or thereabouts, rather than half that at say 0.25Ω. Given how they're obviously measuring milliohm...- TheBloke

Have you re-connected to it with the phone app to re-enable Titanium? The same thing happened to me after the upgrade to 1.08, and I had to re-connect from Android. Same deal probably with SS -

Oh and the proper upgrade tool certainly is a good change - the thing they provided before, which was just the chip manufacturer's standard reprogramming tool, was ridiculous for an end-user product; doubly so when they had to tell the users to change half a dozen options. -

Yeah it most certainly can be done, that's what the DNA 200 has - not only balance charger via USB but the same port also for FW/PC connectivity. But yes no other manufacturer has yet done it, they either have no charger or a 9V separate thing- TheBloke

Yeah that's absolutely nuts. No mod does 0.03 or 0.04, and only a small handful 0.05Ω. That company is completely clueless. Good job sending them an email. The SXM does 75J with the latest FW, 2.2.3 I think it is? The one that adds Titanium. -

Higher the ohms, lower the power, and therefore yes the better the battery life. I normally build Titanium to about 0.40Ω, I've never gone as high as 0.8Ω. Personally I wouldn't build artificially just to increase the ohms, but you could give it a go. Be aware that the stated maximum for TC... -

You can kind of see what I mean here, it's not black but it's got darkened areas all over it, especially near the 'SXK 60' text. I can wipe it with my cleaning cloths again, but will this always happen over time? Or is there some special brass polish I can put on to prevent it? -

Great, hope you can find something that works well for you. In fact it sounds like you might be able to answer an open question we have - how much nickel is too much, for sensitivities? The two NiFes under discussion have 70% and 50-52%. The latter obviously better from that point of view... -

Someone supplied you Ni200 coils at 0.02Ω ? Are you sure they're meant to be? Either way, if the coil is definitely installed right, you should ask for your money back :) SXM is minimum 0.05Ω I believe but you really don't want to build that low if you can avoid it. At that level your TC...
