It might be an idea to give things a clean. They tend to collect dirt and dust which gets gummed together by spilt/leaked ejuice. Clean all threads and contacting parts with a tissue or a q-tip and a drop of alcohol. Coils do tend to go up in ohms as they get older. Just one of those things.
So far as I know Ego batteries have a lower ohms limit of around 1.5, below which they just won't work. You may not have fried it, so try it with a suitable atomiser above 1.5 and you might be lucky. Then again you might not.

All automatics are likely to be low power, though you can get some Ego style (650 mah) batteries that are auto. Maybe connect several together using tubing? Also make sure the juice you're using is high or all VG as this makes more vapour.
I found this on the Fasttech forums a while back. It tells you the Hangsen name and what type of tobacco it's trying to replicate. Hope somebody finds it useful.
I used to vape while plugged in, but after breaking 4 USB leads I decided to give it up. Those USB leads that you get with mods are built down to a price and just aren't made to deal with all the twisting and bending that they get whilst you're vaping.
