Just thought of something. If your heart is set on cig style models, you might want to look at Smoov kits. A bit more expensive, but a better quality product.
I wasn't going to contribute to this thread because there was nothing substantive I could add to the excellent advice already offered. I changed my mind when reading the "going back to smoking" statement.
Blu cigs are great entry level devices. The battery power is marginally better than the...
I feel foolish. The question is how you finance your vapage, not what you spend on vapage.
Like chrisbru, I finance my vaping through working.
(If I had a brain I'd be dangerous.)
My response is pretty much the same. My biggest expenses were incurred prior to the "big battery" era when vapers were consumed with experimentation and figuring out what they needed to do/purchase/configure to get their devices to work consistently. The eGo (IMHO) was a game changer...
Just purchased a eGo device for my wife, who has absolutely NO patience for electronic cigarettes.
I think they called it "Clear Beauty". Paid about $28.00 for it. Small kit...one battery, a clearmizer and a charger.
She likes it.
Definitely a conversation starter.
Unfortunately, though, I will now be unable to see or think of lanyards without associating them with bras.
I do hope you're proud of yourself.
You really think someone would flame you for articulating how foolish people are who adorn themselves in a manner you find comical?
I'm sure a lot of non-vapers find ALL of us foolish for sucking on metal tubes.
So what? Like you said...everyone has their thing. Some of us are just a little...
Spoken like a vaper who's never broken the stems off cartos or had a device activate in a pocket.
(In case you didn't know...it gets rather...eh...HOT...!)
Consider yourself fortunate.
You would think that, right? It's like anything else, having the proper tools (in this case, lanyard) for the job makes a big difference. I wear mine all...day...long. It doesn't hurt a bit.
You could possibly attach a mod holder to a retractable key ring. Your success would depend on how heavy your mod is. Maybe something with a switch (like on a tape measure) which would prevent releasing the mod when you don't want it released.
You raise an interesting issue since lanyards come in different styles. I purchased my first lanyard for my Provari (which most vapers know is pretty hefty) several weeks ago. The skinny little string thing with a clip may work well for an eGo, but would never do for anything larger. The first...
Nettmix Custom Vapes offers a juice they call "Newpore". I guess it's pretty darn close to the analog since my wife (a Newport smoker) hasn't complained about it.
...when the smell of cigarette smoke disgusts you.
When you've been awake for an hour or more and suddenly remember you haven't had your morning "nic fix".
I'll vape until I no longer find it pleasurable or the practice becomes overly restrictive or banned.
I'll gladly share what little I know about the practice, if asked. Otherwise, I keep my opinions to myself (forums excluded).
I might add that it's not always feasible to wear my lanyard. On those occasions where wearing a lanyard is inappropriate, I clip my case to a belt loop and stick it in my pocket.
Why bother with a clip instead of just putting the darn thing in my pocket? My Provari slipped out of my pocket...
