Temperature Control devices are a bit different though because the starting resistance is so low to begin with. To build a higher ohm dual coil for the IPV4, you need an absurd amount of wraps. And with the SX Mini, YiHi recommends .065 for optimal performance in temp control.

It all depends on the RYO. Because of taxes, the majority consists of pipe blends which are quite harsh. There are a few actual cigarette blends like McClintock Rave which taste every bit as good as a Marlboro. Your tubes have a lot to do with it as well. Those Gambler and Premiere tubes that...
RYO is certainly cheaper and better then Big Tobacco cigarettes but just like cigarettes, you can buy much cheaper juice which isn't falsely marketed as premium. There are many vendors out there which offer 120ml bottles for $20 or less. Learn DIY and its Cheaper yet.

He is probably using a DNA 40 which uses watts instead of joules. But if you want more vapor with temp control, the IPV4 isn't the device since .12 ohms is a restriction. You can build some decent dual coils with the SX Mini or Snow Wolf since both can be built as low as .05

I was worried I wasn't going to make it. Luckily I was able to catch the last two hours which was actually when the best deals were happening. There were $5 30ml bottles everywhere during the final half hour. Mitten Vapors was walking around just handing random people bags of juice. I got five...
I often wonder if the Big Tobacco cigalike is only there to discourage people from making the switch. I know the first time I tried one, it took me a whole year and a half to try vaping again because I knew nothing of the other products out there.

I just got back from VapeXpo in Ann Arbor Michigan. I had a really good time and met some great people in the industry who I socialize with on my local Facebook groups. I'm already looking forward to Vape in the Fort at the end of August.
I'm kind of kicking myself in the behind for not jumping...
Are you buying directly from Vapor Shark? I would contact them and see if you could get a price adjustment. I saw them post on their Facebook page that they would adjust the price for people who bought it within the last seven days.

I was wondering how much money you were paying for the rDNA. I'm only asking because it saw a huge price drop today.

My initial reply was aimed at the belief I constantly see that YiHi's temperature control is better. If that's not what you meant, I'm sorry if I misunderstood. Both brands have their pros and cons with the SX330 being the worst of the three chips but most popular at the moment due to price...
I'm not trolling and own both a YiHi and DNA 40 mod. While the YiHi is more powerful, the DNA 40 has better performance since its not using PWM for temperature control. But if you do want the pros of a YiHi powered temperature control device, it's not the IPV4. It's the SX Mini M Class.

I wouldn't buy one. I recommended one to a friend on a budget, looking to get into higher watts. He dropped it once from pocket height and the screen quit working. Meanwhile I've beat my MVP 2.0 and IPV 2S to death doing landscaping and they have never failed.
So between that and the piece of...
My assumption would have to be the earlier DNA 40 chips, throwing screen glitches. I haven't heard many bad reports about the newer batches though.
