Currently rocking a .7 on my Subtank Plus at 22 watts. I prefer the cooler vapor. On build day it was a .6 but that was 2 weeks ago. I have mid to low air and use a 75% diy strawberry custard. Hot custards don't appeal to me as I want to think of my vape like a bowl pulled out of the fridge. The...
If you're looking to increase flavor with the Mini, turn down the airflow. Less air equals more juice being pulled in to the coil. Also, a thinner juice will wick faster than heavy VG. You may look at turning down the wattage of your battery as well. Happy vaping.
I've noticed something with pre-made coils lately. It seems like the first 20 or 30 puffs taste like I've burnt the coil and it scares me. I bought a 5 pack a month ago due to time and laziness from rebuilding my old ones. I'm using 12.7 watts with my full size Nautilus and it's good for me...
.5-.8 give the best vapes IMO for the royal hunter. Wattage is as different as apples and oranges. You have to experiment to find the right heat vs. flavor vs. throat hit, etc. I vape at 24-29 watts most of the time with drippers. I do not like hot vapes. I hated it when a cigarettes got hot and...
Sometimes the simple explanation of things works best. Some older vapers are a bit too tech savvy and unintentionally over complicate answers. More vapor means more nicotine is delivered. When we use tanks, they produce less vapor which is why we need a higher level of nic to compensate. I...
Nicotine absorption from electronic cigarette use: comparison between first and new-generation devices : Scientific Reports : Nature Publishing Group
This link states how much nicotine you actually absorb and in comparison to analogs. There are more reports that you should google. BTW...
I was confused. lol. To me it read like you build the coil, install it and just pray for the best. I was actually thinking "Wow, this guy must really know what he's doing so that he doesn't even check his builds". Thanks
I am a Royal Hunter owner and it's my favorite rda. This is in part because my initials are on the side. Plenty of air with a delrin cap. I've been building dual nano coils at a .6 resistance with a "dragon-style" wicking. The trick to this is to turn the coils to a 30-35 degree angle with the...
Great build. I've been doing my own BVCs for a while and they seem to work a lot better than factory coils. I use my Nautilus while working and break out my Subtank Plus when I'm not. Any sub ohm tank with an RBA looks to be your next step. Stay strong and vape on.
When you get the chance, buy a few of the little. disposable plastic tanks just for emergencies. I keep an unused one in my truck and have 4 or 5 in the house. I originally bought them to try new flavors and got them for about $1.00 from Fasttech. Another idea would be to pick up an RDA even if...
Welcome to the forum. The gear you have sounds like you should be loving life. There are tons of options but I honestly like the opinions of the folks here and most are right on the money. If you're interested in other sub ohm tanks and options, the Subtank mini from Kanger is a good choice. I...
I use 75 vg 25 pg in my Nautilus with a 1.6 rebuilt coil and have no issues. I needed a new coil while at work and bought one without thinking about the ratio of my juice. It worked fine and I didn't even notice until later that night when I told my wife. Some vapers advise against it because...
2 reasons: Coffee and sweet. Darker liquids and sweet liquids will gunk up coils much faster than a clearer juice. Also, higher temps burn more juice quicker so you're going to accumulate more residue along with the bigger vapor. I wouldn't have thought that you could gunk a coil in a day unless...
Ditch the spent coil body and use another. I rebuild bvc's for my nautilus and have not encountered this but I have thought about it. You said that other coils work so try rebuilding on a different shell. I think it's the insulator not getting a good contact with the side of the shell due to...
There's something else wrong if you can only rise to 25 watts. If you own an rda, try it or go to a B&M and ask to use one on your mod. The istick 50w goes down to .2 so I don't see how that the prob. It's recommended that you go no higher than 25 watts but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't...
I'm 41 and had a heart attack on Dec. 30, 2014. The doctors said that if I hadn't smoked, the arteries around my heart would have been able to expand enough so my heart would receive the blood it needed. Tar hardens your arteries. Since I don't knowingly eat tar, I blame cigarettes. Stress was a...
I diy and my average cost per ml is .06. That's $1.80 for a 30ml bottle of whatever-I-want. I'm not cheap, I just like my juice more than most of what's on a shelf. I'm to the point where I can give juice away for people to try vaping or diy-ing themselves. Friends love me, vape shops hate me. lol
