Any Non-smokers who started vaping get their lungs examined?

I had pneumonia just recently and had MRIs done on my chest. I smoked for 20 years and I'm 42 years old. After 1 year and 8 months of vaping, there are trace hints of damage to my lungs as of last month. My doctor equated the damage to 1 or 2 years of smoking. In 3 years, there will be almost no...

Is anyone else like me? Do you not taste anything on the inhale and only on the exhale?

I taste mostly on the exhale too. Smaller hits at higher wattages gives me an "envelope" effect as I'm completely surrounded by vapor. I like my diy custard so much that I fog myself.

    RTA for somewhat noob?

I've tried the Billow V2 and loved it. The crown looks really good and I've heard alot of good things about it. With the crown, you have to buy the rba separately BUT you can get a single rba or a dual rba. The Zephyrus works great and it has top fill but the little rubber tab you have to pull...

    good voltage?

With a 2.0 coil I would think that the higher end of the range would work best. When the power is too low, the ramp up time for the coil takes too long and you can flood the tank by drawing before the coil is hot enough to vaporize the juice. 8 watts or more should most likely work best. This is...

Which Tank Should I try First?

    I say the TFV4.

Subtank mini - Sub ohm noob

Both flavor and the amount of vapor increase with most sub ohm tanks. You're in a new world of vaping my friend. Using an rda/dripper will increase this effect even more. You may find you need lower nicotine juice as time goes on. Great choice on a tank. If you have any issues with it, just ask.

    UD pre built coils

I've seen and heard good things about them. I build my own as it's cheap and easy. You still have to fiddle around with coils even if someone else wraps it so you might want to reconsider buying them. Pinching, firing, rewicking, and adjustments are all a part of using an rda. Is all the work...

    iStick 100w Already selling!

I don't have one as I don't need it but I think that it has all the right markings to be a winner. As long as I don't hear/see any reviews that remind me of the istick 50 watt, it should be a great investment. I've also seen it for sale at VaporNW for $39.99. I've ordered from VaporNW in the...

    what do i need

Get the things they recommended above. Upgrades that help with mixing would be a digital scale, building or buying a table mixer which also helps with steeping times, and a size appropriate glass bottle to store your unused nic. Good luck on the DIY path. It's been great for me.

    my vapes

Welcome to ECF. Start simple with the boxes. There are a few tutorials online that can show you how and give blueprints on the wiring. Ordering the parts can be tricky as they are in high demand right now everywhere. It may be easier to order a kit with all the parts you'll need. Once you get...

    A little help please?

Welcome to the forum. You're wicking may be a little loose and need more cotton to help solve the leaking issue. When you rewick, use a slightly wider piece of the organic cotton you have. I don't recommend silicone as the cotton keeps the flavor of juice stay truer. If you've decided to get a...

    nautilus mini

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, they gurgle. Happened to me all the time when I used them. Happened to my wife too. A little puff in the drip tip before the hit will settle it down some but don't blow too hard or you'll be pushing juice out the air flow holes. A paper towel rolled into a...

    Ohm Readings

I usually trust my ohm reader. I figure since it's a dedicated device with basically one purpose, it's reliable. If you're getting within .1 of a build, you're golden. I have stock coils that have .5 written right on the side and they read .4 on my istick, MVP, and IPV4. After 2 years of...

    Venting!

Now that you understand how bad smoking smells, feels, tastes, and costs, make the investment and get good gear. Either find a good, local vape shop or order some things online. A good tank for mouth to lung vaping is about $25-30. I liked my Nautilus 5ml tank and it helped me a great deal to...

    120ml Bottle Fill Cap?

For 120 ml you could use a clear. plastic condiment bottle from a dollar store . It's food grade plastic so it won't introduce oils in to the juice. The nozzle on them might be a bit big but if you're using a good sized tank or dripping, it won't matter.

    Subtank Rba vs. occ

I use the Plus and build a vertical coil for it. I used the Rip Trippers video for a Delta 2 as inspiration. If you can get some good cotton like Cotton Bacon or real organic stuff, do it. It really makes a difference to me. You can wick maybe 100 coils for a $5 bag. The savings of building...

    The Siegeli

Lost Art's Cottontail Cream is great. As for your tank, I'd stick with the mini for a little while. I've heard that there will be even better stuff out around late October. The word is that some companies are holding back to get your christmas dollars. I'm actually expecting a very cloudy...

    Rebuilding Nautilus coils question

Wicks fine. I was nervous that building below the ohms of a stock coil would lead to the grommet burning eventually. I was glad someone else had done a low ohm build for it and it worked for him. One more wrap would have given me 1.4 or 1.5 but I wanted to go to 1.0 and I value the knowledge...
