An aluminum coppervape bf mod, a frankenskull bf mod, and an odis atty clone. Gotta love fasttech.
I believe they're all still in stock. I wanted a cheap bf mod for when I travel, so I don't have to worry about losing my REO.
CASAA has dedicated people, and I try not to be disparaging. I was disappointed, though I understand their view in that they are not a "Vaping" advocacy group. I don't think all of the tools at our disposal are being utilized to their fullest, but I still send out their CTA's when I think it...
You know, I was all smug in my non-shinyitis frame of mind, hadn't really bought anything vape related in over a year other than some liquid... and then I realized I had passed my four year mark, and had $60 in my paypal account, and ended up buying two mods and an RDA.
My name is Lessifer and...
Yup. I was told directly that not only are petitions useless, mine in particular was misguided because nicotine IS tobacco, and even trying to remove it from the TCA was detrimental to the tobacco harm reduction movement.
Didn't stop me.
Actually, my petition got pushback, from the advocacy groups, over the idea that vaping could and should be separated from tobacco. In addition to the notion that a petition is only valuable if it can directly cause a change.
I'll admit freely that I don't understand what the actual concern is over the safety of WTA, if there is one. I assume that testing of the product could reveal if there is anything harmful in it, as long as they know what they're looking for. Is there a specific concern?
Yes and no. The "vape community" and the vendors that serve the community have a very good relationship, even though things like diacetyl and food coloring aren't known to be problems, the response has been that there are options without those for people who want them. There's also a whole...
Me too, I really do, but my "contribution" is limited to pockets of 1-? minutes in between other tasks, that can't be scheduled.
Finding agreement on what vaping regulation SHOULD look like is a herculean task. Some vapers would be perfectly happy with the deeming, if it had the grandfather...
I agree, it's completely arbitrary. Just discussing to see if this is something that could be turned into a viable solution. Any attempt to set standards without information that would directly impact what those standards should be is arbitrary.
We don't know what needs to be kept out of...
I'm afraid this is something we're just going to have to disagree on. The research that went into those decisions was biased, and inconclusive at best. Add to that the facts that cigarette ads can consist of little more than the brand name and packaging at this point, AND that this will be used...
I admit I haven't followed this particular fight, but if the manufacturer were to submit chemical analysis to AEMSA are you saying they still wouldn't accept it?
Again, I don't necessarily agree with adopting AEMSA standards as they are, it's a trade group and I've always believed that...
I don't subscribe to the idea that advertising LEADS to smoking. I think it effects product choice, but not initiation. So, the bans don't make sense in the first place.
That hasn't been the tone of this thread though. It would also have zero effect on people mishandling removable batteries or using batteries not rated for the way they are using them. I'm okay with that, but other seem to be asking for more.
I haven't seen what their requirements might be, but when people talk about the misrepresentation of specs on batteries currently on the market, I assume they're talking about the specs printed on the battery.
I get it, Democrats are against vaping, not arguing against that generalization. Was there a unified Republican front in favor of Cole-Bishop? Perhaps I don't fully understand the power of the Democrat minority on the hill but, if people felt this was something worth fighting for, it would have...
My main concern with this is, for the manufacturers who don't currently label their batteries for resale, which would be all of the 18650's we use for the most part, who don't intend for their batteries to be used individually outside of battery packs, which is why they don't label them that...
