    Wire gauge and ohms?

I wanted to keep vaping at 3.3-3.4 volts with my 2.4 ohm coils. So I bought the . . . regulated Kamry V2: Variable wattage from 7-30W(0.1 increment) Variable voltage from 1.4-8V(0.1 increment) (* I didn't know that it won't go below 7 watts, so a 2.4ohm coil will not go below 4.1 volts; a 1.4...

    Wire gauge and ohms?

Ok, figured it out. I think I'm screwed with my new mod. Nothing I do will make it burn less than 7 watts. Volts squared / Resistance (in ohms) = Watts, so 3.4 squared/2.4 = 4.82 watts is what I am used to vaping My new mod only goes down to 7 watts (was advertised VV down to 1.4, but...

    Wire gauge and ohms?

Thanks Everyone! So I want a lower ohm coil, not a higher ohm!?! I was thinking I needed higher ohms to avoid the burning. Arghhh. edyle: The problem with the tanks I've seen is I can't just swap out a head if I'm leaving the house or take extra coils with me. I haven't shopped in quite a...

    Wire gauge and ohms?

I just want to rebuild my protank coils to work with my new Kamry V2 mod. I've been rebuilding my protank coils with 28 gauge nichrome wire and have been vaping at 3.3-3.4 volts on my Vamo for a couple years. Now everything is watts (I've read several articles and I'm still not getting it.)...

Need a new mod and have been out of the loop for over a year?

I got the Kamry V2 today. I was so excited BUT the description by Fasttech was wrong. It does not go down to 1.4 v, it only goes down to 4.1 volts. I am using it on the K2 tank (like a protank) I ordered and running it at the lowest setting of 7 watts and it's ok. Can anyone give me advice...

Need a new mod and have been out of the loop for over a year?

If I don't like the Kamry I ordered I'll try the Sigelei mini next - unless something else comes out. $200 is way out of my budget. Thanks for the advise.

Need a new mod and have been out of the loop for over a year?

Thanks, but Provari's are not within my budget and I'm too clumsy with my ecig to spend a lot of $$$.

Need a new mod and have been out of the loop for over a year?

Thanks, but I don't want a built in battery. I looked at the Sigilei Mini, good price at MyVaporStore ($29.95), but continuing to fire is concerning. I can't find many reviews on the Kamry 30W. The few on fasttech are all good. Well, I just pulled the trigger on the Kamry since I needed a...

Need a new mod and have been out of the loop for over a year?

I've been using a couple Vamo's (V3 and V5) with X10 tanks (from Fasttech) and they are finally going bad. I'd like a new box mod, but see that everything is now in watts instead of volts that I'm used to. I rebuild my own coils and they read about 2.6 - 2.8 ohms. I usually vape at 3.3 to 3.5...

    Hate my setup

Please get your dogs fixed first. (Priorities) Try and hold out on upgrading. The first 6 mos. to one year, I was like obsessed with vaping and order a bunch of stuff and spent a lot. I lost interest and now I just want everything to work with the least amount of effort and $. I found...

Tanks that use the Protank atomiser head

Was just looking at that one! But then I read someone looking for a replacement base and they couldn't find one. I just emailed a local supplier about it. I don't need glass, but it does look like it work work if it's made well. It looks very similar to the X10.

Tanks that use the Protank atomiser head

I was hoping for something bigger than 1.6 ml's. Fasttech has some bigger really cheap plastic ones, too.

Kamrytech X10 Protank Rebuildable Atomizer with DCT Pyrex Tank (4.0ml)

I loved mine along with the X10 heads from fasttech. The first heads I ordered did not have a knurled stem, but now they do. The problem is the BASE SNAPS OFF the tank VERY EASILY and YOU CANNOT BUY REPLACEMENT BASES anywhere! The entire tank is then useless. I now have a bunch of heads I...

Any other tanks better then the Kanger Protank

I bought a ton of protank/kamry X10 heads for the X10. I'm looking for a new tank only because the X10's base snaps off easily and you can't get replacements. I don't want glass though.

Tanks that use the Protank atomiser head

Note: I've bought two Kamry X10's. The bases easily snap off rendering it useless because I can't find anywhere to buy replacement bases. Too bad, because otherwise I love it. Now I'm looking for a non-glass tank to replace it. I bought tons of heads for the X10 but don't have a tank now.

    Vamo-Vivi V2 vs V3.......

I see you own an X10 and protank . . . Does you know if the bases are interchangeable? I dropped my Fasttech X10 and snapped off the threads. Was hoping to just replace the bottom with Replacement base for Pro Tank since my last order is hung up in Hong Kong.

    eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers

I stopped using them. Loved it at first, then I started getting condensation in it and couldn't get a good draw. I graduated the the Vivi Nova and X10 (Fasttech) and now find them much better.

The FastTech Thread For All FastTech Posts

Note: problem with Hong Kong postal service (apparently affects orders shipped USPS, too): "Sorry for the issue. We have tracked it for you, and only to find that the package is still stuck in HK,which may be caused by the recent HK postal issue. To safeguard aviation security, Hongkong Post...

vivi nova , yes or no ??

What I don't like about my Vision Vivi Nova's is the threads get messed up by the slightest bump or something. They do not screw on my Vamo. The X10 tank from Fasttech does not have that problem. The mini doesn't have that problem. But the 3 big Vivi's all have a thread issue. That's my...

    Wizard Labs Out of Stock?

I wish Wizard Labs would list an approximate time of when they expect to have nic liquid in stock. This is the 2nd time I wanted to order from them and they are out of stock. Heartland's smallest quantity is a full liter (wish I had someone in AZ to split it with - that would be the way to go...
