Just for clarification, the reo has a catch cup around the atty connector but the connector itself is not recessed. Also there is no "needle" to go up into the air tube.
I personally don't see the benefit but if you enjoy it, thats all that matters and happy vapes to you.
I love my jar openers and use them for my GG more than I ever did before. Especially helpful separating the tube from the base of the iatty. Got a 4 or 8 pack at dollar tree for a buck. Great buy.
Vaporologist - I just looked at mine for comparison. The original center post from my brass bottom cap and my fuse are the same as in your pics. They switch out just fine. The center post from my nickel cap is the same as the one on the fuse. Everything swaps around just fine and works...
A higher resistance coil would be longer and/or a thinner gauge not thicker. 34ga(.0063in dia.) nichrome 60 = 17Ω/ft ; 32ga(.008in dia.) nichrome 60 = 10.6Ω/ft. I think the ideal hr coil would have a thinner wire that has the same length as an sr coil. Thus increasing the resistance and still...
I agree about VF. It got me thinking - Is there a connection between those who are (IMHO) intelligent enough to have a civilized discussion and love for the GG? Is there also a connection between those who choose to express themselves through a "profanity riddled ..... waving contest" (thanks...
I cant use a rethreader + 901->510 combo and keep the draw cap (in the pics chief still has his draw cap on). If I use that adapter arrangement the connector is too far down in the collection tank to thread an atty into while the cap is still on. Keeping the cap requires 510->901 + 901->510...
1 inch of 34awg nichrome 60 would be ~1.4Ω
1 inch of 32awg nichrome 60 would be ~0.8Ω
Seems 32awg would be better for having more coils and still keeping a lr setup. 34awg would be better for higher ohm coils but still get a good number of wraps to get the most coil-juice contact.
