    If you are using 30g wire, I see no reason to run a twisted coil BTW. Glad to see you are running IMR batteries :) Perhaps you can raise the coil up higher with small washers and also use a short drip tip?

    Twisted coil will lower ohms. Add an extra wrap or two of coil. Try to get ~1.5Ω coil for the heat you are trying for. Battery needs to be an IMR 18350. If it is a a Lithium Ion battery, the drain is to much if that coil is less then 1.5Ω. I am using 30g wire with a 6/7 coil wrap. My OHMS are...

    I don't - yet. I am waiting for the 14500 version. I have 2 many ways to vape w/ 18xxx mods already... Guess that counts me out for testing the 14500 then :) Oh well.

    Please check your coil resistance after making it, and hopefully you are using IMR batteries... The NGP is friendly to setup since the wick is isolated from the body/ground, so it should not be to hard to get a working setup :)

    If you make tanks & top caps for the Orion, I will prob pick up a few. I am one that does prefer the 1mm draw air hole though. As far as tight draw top caps for yours... Won't they fit the Zenesis also? I think Mike stopped production of tight draw caps, so if yours will fit a Zen, again there...

    No that does not increase resistance. It lowers it. Why I suggest a 3/4 or 4/5 wrap, because it will be hotter.

    denali has a point IRT to kinks. I use my thumb nail or the shaft on a screwdriver to smooth the kanthal or nichrome before use.

    You could try that... Or you could dry fire them and while doing so use a toothpick and nudge the coil where it stops glowing till it glows evenly... The goal is all light up fairly even, at relatively the same time. Careful you don't over do it and melt anything... Not sure if that Phoenix has...

I would appreciate it more if it was limited to 1 per customer, so that there are more for those that are actually at Vaporcon...

    Actually, I believe it is a short in your coil at some point. It still vapes fine, because the rest of the coil is doing its job, and because of that there appears to be no hot spots etc... So if you dry burn, do ALL the coils glow? Or just the top 4-5?

    What VG/PG ratio are you vaping? Try to tilt it some with the cap off and look for it to wick. Both of mine came from Péter setup already and worked pretty good out of the box. 1.8Ω usually is pretty good with a fresh battery. Some like 1.3-1.5Ω. You could try one less wrap of wire on your coil...

    These come setup usually already w/32g 4 wraps on 325 wick usually. Are you using this setup or did you get it used? Also, if you got it used, hopefully no one drilled your air hole bigger. It potentially can ruin the NGP since it is a center wick with a fairly large atomizer chamber.
