I was vaping silica and ceramic wicks mostly and started developing having some breathing issues... back to SS mesh and after a while my problems stopped... for whatever it's worth, I'll stick with mesh now.
new vape shop in Thornburg, Va. Exit 118 off I95... head towards rt 1 cross over and you'll see it next to the pawn shop and napa. they were closed today and I only know of it because we were on our way home from a friends house.
Not sure if posted elsewhere, but thought I would put this up. I have one and like it a lot. Rotate between the VaperV3 and a MicroStick/Shperoid for my motorcycle or take to work PVs. Thought Todd's review was pretty spot on.
We aren't going to win. We are frogs in a boiling pot. Government is all about regulation and taxation. We have watched it with everything from milk to cigarettes to firearms.
I prefer ekowool. I am using the ready wick from RBA supplies right now, and it is good, but to expensive. it also does not wick that well initially, but it picks up wicking after a while. I don't like cotton.
This is what I am getting at, and want visualized. My successful was a dual 10x28g wrap horizontal "macro" coil, with silica. It worked best when I tightened the air draw down. That surprised me.
I have tried multiple coils; typically duals @1Ω, horizontal and vertical macros/minis/micros...
I am truly interested in David's demonstration of airflow, as I would like to get a better idea to hopefully get a decent non sub ohm build. After many attempts, and 1 acceptable build, I have all but given up on this atomizer otherwise :( However, I don't want to because I dropped a lot of coin...
I'm sorry Dave, but I refuse to "push the envelope" to .25Ω. That is really pushing it IMO, and asking for trouble. Condoning builds that low in resistance is not something I would support, but that's just me, and people can do whatever they want. Hopefully someone doesn't try that on a battery...
had to watch vid while not interrupting my wife's TV time, so sound was off. Looked like dual 6 wrap 26 gauge coils. What total resistance does it measure out to?
Bigern, the vape on my current build is pretty good. I built simple dual coil mini/micro @1Ω total resistance using silica. The micros are close to the inner edge of the atty, and right on the deck. Fully filled the tank, and can vape it almost dry. I cannot vape it dry, otherwise I get a real...
Nice post Vcoupe. Really appreciate that sort of detail in a post.
My build is very similar. However, I discovered what you did with cotton, by filling to the point of flooding, the reservoir with my eliquid. Also, my coils ended up on the deck essentially. I hate cotton and not a fan of...
I got mine today, and though I am very happy with the Simplicity, I am not with the Strata. I got a build working as well as Symbolic's using a dual coil low on the deck. Air is tightened down then backed off 3/4 of a turn. Everything else burnt my throat and it took 6 builds to get here. I...
lol. Gennies are dead. Not.
Still the cleanest, best flavor and vapor I have ever had. Just need to know how to build them, and they are not high maintenance, and easy to take care of since you can get to the wick/coil so easy. Yea I tried the Kayfuns, not impressed. Drippers are awesome, and...
