Honestly, its been this long, I would just wait it out Djoof. I will say SuperT has amazing craftsmanship and their mods will stand the test of time - even though you might be dead by the time you get it. Also, it seems that David really does try to do right by his customers in the end. Its just...
My hypothesis is that with only him and one employee they are grouping things together. I think they do the final polishing, finishing and assembly for a batch of orders. Then they take them all and put them in envelopes and assign tracking numbers, which stamps.com automatically sends emails...
Yeah, having some frustration as well with this. Ordered an industrious early february. Received it months later with 3/4 air holes drilled out. Sent it in to be fixed along with my old p16 for a refinish. Finally got a shipping notice two weeks ago but its still sitting without any activity. I...
There were a few models of the strata. It is a hybrid atomizer and each model fits with a specific super T mod. There was a precise plus, simplicity and an ELA model. Sounds like you got the wrong one :(
In my experience the strata is much hotter than most. Its much much beefier than most RDA's and that metal heats up and stays hot. The Veritas (also a big chunk of metal) heats up in a similar way but the strata is hotter.
As far as how often you drip, it depends on the atomizer. That's one...
Haha, seeing yours, I was wondering if my wick went too high.. its why I asked. Not sure if twisting more is necessary buy my first build looked a lot like yours after after about a day a hot spot formed. If you notice that sizzling atty sound after you stop pressing the button, that's probably...
Glad its working for you. How's your wick working? If you start getting hot spots in the coil, twisting it more thoroughly seemed to help for me. My twisted wire looks like this:
David, I've been wondering that when the dust settles for you if you could post up some specs or links to vendors for the various odds and ends that people might need to keep their mods running. By this I mean things that could be purchased from online vendors like springs, o-rings, washers or...
Twisting wire lowers the ohms. Its similar to going from one coil to two coils in terms of resistance drop. Also, Make sure your wick doesnt bury your coil. You want to make sure the air can hit it as directly as possible.
Hey Ramshot, Im in the same boat with the same materials to work with. Im getting pretty good vapor production with .55 ohms with a strait coil build. To get that resistance you want to use your 28g and twist it up. I highly recommend straitening your kanthal before twisting it or building any...
After spending a few days with the Strata I am still enjoying it. Its biggest strength for me is how long you can go without dripping. Its not the best cloud machine or flavor machine (not yet at least) that I have but it provides a satisfying, warmer than average, vape. I thought I would post a...
One thing that really frustrates me with the clone market is what the B&M's are doing, at least in my area. Im sure there are a lot of reasons when running retail store to want to buy cheap to make a profit and many modders don't have the production to sell at wholesale price. But my local B&M's...
My workhorse tele is ready and waiting! Did you get the package? I accidentally sent it to the return address PO box on the package you sent instead of the address you emailed me. It also contains my p16 for a retouch!
Also, the drip tip on this is really nice. The slight rounded edge on the...
My Strata finally came in the mail today! Loving having a flush atty on the ELA. My first build is a great success. I went with the strait wire method. Using 28g twisted kanthal and organic cotton ball. The flavor and vapor production are great. The build was super easy, less than 15 minutes...
Loving this tiny setup. Workhorse 18350 and a Derringer RDA. Using a single coil of 26g at .65ohm. The button throw is set to a really short feather-light touch. Super light and compact yet it hits like a truck. :vapor:
