    The end of microcoils?

My ADV should be fairly safe then, 50/50 PG/VG Menthol with a touch of Spearmint. And on the plus side, it doesn't gunk up coils very fast at all.

Vape gear you regret buying most?

Probably a race between an Aurora BFT bottom feeder that I'm just not smart enough to get to work consistently and the DSE801 penstyles that I thought would be the best vape every but turned out to be the leakiest PV I've ever used.

    The end of microcoils?

I've read through this whole thread in the last week or so and there's been a lot of food for thought here. Before this thread, I've never given much thought about the coils I build, more interested in getting them functional and semi long lasting. It's never really crossed my mind to care why...

Where to get high-quality Vegetable USP Glycerin (VG)?

I use Humco brand that's carried by our local grocery store and Walmart. As far as the quality, be sure it says USP on it.

Is A "helping hands" useful for building coils

I use one everytime I build coils - but just the magnifying glass. Even with my glasses on (which I hate to wear) I can just barely see the kanthal wire so I wrap under the glass. Then when it comes time to thread the wick through the coil even with the glass it takes some patience some days.

Recommend a battery for Sigelei Mini 30 watt?

I use ptvso 18650 in mine: PVTSO Elite IMR 18650, 2100mAh, 38amp Battery, Flat Top I've been using them for about a month and have had no issues. I normally vape at 8.5 watts in my Sigelei, the batteries last nearly two days for me.

Box mod: Sigelei mini 30w, iPV Mini 30w, or ZNA 50w?

Of the one's you list I have the Segelei mini 30w. I've only had it about a month now, so can't really address long term on it, but so far I really like it. I've been using it daily all with the same tank and juice and it's been flawless. It does require flat top batteries, button tops don't...

Older Folks and Vaping Front Porch - Part Three

No, the driptip doesn't come off. It does on the Trophy Tank 2, but the one of those I had leaked some and I gave it away not long after I got it. Look at the mini Trophy kits. They have the silver there, or at least they did yesterday when I ordered a couple of them. I really don't need...

Older Folks and Vaping Front Porch - Part Three

Just did a search on the Davide, had never heard of that one myself. It does look very similar. Trophy Bottom Coil Tank Kit That is the one that I use. It's been just about as trouble free as a tank can get.

If you could only keep one setup

Easy answer as I've been doing almost that for a while now. Either a MPV or Segelei mini and a Trophy tank. The juice is DIY menthol/spearmint. I do have a couple of other setups, but that's what I've been using for about the last 7-8 months.

Older Folks and Vaping Front Porch - Part Three

I've ordered from them a couple of times. Great prices. Probably have more coils than I'll ever be able to use. Use them a couple of times then rebuild them. Been using the same 8 or 10 as long as I've used bottom coil tanks. My go to is the Trophy tank, used it daily for about 8 months so...

Are you one of the lucky ones? Vape at work?

I vape at work as long as I'm in my office. I work for a school district as a system engineer - servers and switches, etc. When I first started vaping years ago, I asked my boss at the time and was told it was fine in my office.

I think we need to STOP recommending a Istick 50

I've read this whole thread and personally, I'd err to the cautious side if I had an iStick 50. I don't personally have a 50w but I do have a 30w. I know the 30 hasn't had the same issues, or at least we don't know of them yet, but it is a cheap device. I'll keep the 30 in my rotation, but...
