    Dunno if it could work, my metallurgical knowledge is a bit rusty... But isn't trying to clean a coil more work than just wrapping a new one? For sure it'll be more messy.

    I only just started with TC vaping and only bought titanium wire. My mod has a titanium setting and I did some TC fiddling to find its spot where it only lightly browns the cotton if dry burning. I had a bit of trouble shaping the first coil as you can't really glow titanium. Low power...

    And maybe buy one of these cords to tie your gear to (neck or wrist) and prevent them from dropping. Works wonders on cameras and ecigs alike.
