    Which tank?

You might look at the Trophy Tank at Madvapes.com. It's very similar to a ProTank 2, even uses the same coils. It's a single bottom coil and the coils are easy to get and fairly cheap. I got the coils I use from clonecores.com. I have one that I've been using over 8 months now. I've never...

    Vaping around kids

Here's another old timer checking in. When my kiddos were home wife and I both smoked in the house around the kiddos. We didn't think anything of it because our parents had done the same thing. After we had grandkiddos, we wouldn't smoke if there were right there, but we did still smoke in...

New to ECF, came from ECR

Welcome to ECF. I spend a bit of time over there at ECR too. This place is a lot calmer.

What's everyone do for a living?

Technically, my title is "Computer System Engineer". Reality, I'm the nerd that speaks 'nix and Cisco IOS. You probably know your pc better than I do.

Turn-Key Solution for a Former Vaper

Segelei Mini 30w - good VV/VW box mod. Uses 18650 flat top IMR battery. MPV - Solid VV/VW but has proprietary battery, so basically disposable. Virtually indestructible. Trophy Tank - coils can be purchased and/or rebuilt easily. These are what I carry all the time. Check out MadVapes.com...

Others have been having similar issues. I think I read about it in this thread --> Eleaf istick 50w Owners Group | E-Cigarette Forum

    recommendation of a vv/ww mod

I have the Sigelei mini 30w and have been pretty happy with that.

    How long have you vaped?

A little over 5 years. Don't remember the exact date anymore. Started with some off brand and then to DSE801 PenStyle. Then it got expensive! Went through a stage where I had to have one of seemingly every new device that came out. It's been a fun journey and hope to continue on it for...

    Just Confirmed

Ah, great choice in hardware there. I have a Segelei mini also and found my sweet spot at 1.9-2.1 ohms @ 8-8.5 watts with my regular juice.

How close is a vape shop to you

There's one in town here and I do give him a little business. His prices aren't too awful bad, about what I'd expect to support the physical store. Not a huge selection and mostly (wisely for here) targets people just starting out. Lots of ego style batts and CE/x Evod toppers. His juice...

    Are YOU a Tootle Puffer??

Ok, haven't tried any new toppers in a while, so at that price just picked up two. Great find, and not out much just for trying. thanks for the heads up!

Seems the more I learn the less I know

Welcome aboard! I think we all feel that way some days. Vaping is growing pretty fast, there's new things everyday it seems.

    what's your favorite setting

MPV with Trophy Tank 1.9 - 2.1ohm 8-8.5w DIY Menthol/Spearmint juice. I've played with higher wattages, mostly on drippers and mech mods, but this is what I keep coming back to. It just works for me.

Finally! No more urges to buy new gear!

I've been vaping for some time and mostly don't have to buy one of each any more. But then, every few months or so, shinyitis strikes and there goes another $200.

Older Folks and Vaping Front Porch - Part Three

Good morning all. Yes, been lurking for the last few days. Used to be on ecf quite a bit years ago, just wondered off for a bit and decided to come back. And I like the idea of Iffy's "acoustic pads" that way we have an excuse just in case gas happens.

    How much do you spend?

I DIY menthol @5mg so juice is pretty cheap. I rebuild my own coils, so that $10 investment is going to last quite a while. The only thing left is mods. Just picked up a Segelei mini and MVP 20w so that's probably over for a while. I go months without spending anything, then drop $200 all...

Older Folks and Vaping Front Porch - Part Three

Well, been around for a while, guess I aught to post here and introduce myself. I'm another of those "Tootie Puffers", 1.9ohm 8.5w mostly Trophy Tank user. Looks like an interesting crowd in here. So, Hello all!

    Favorite Clearomizer?

Well, here's another vote for the Mini ProTank 2. The coils are easy to rebuild and the device itself is very rugged. I've been using one since they first came out.
