    Getting a back up...

Variable voltage really opens a lot of doors. You don't have to worry about the resistance of what you put on it, because you can adjust your voltage to get the vape you want. The voltage change can give you a warmer or cooler vape, more or less vapor, even the flavor of your juice can change...

    Help VV gripper!

One thing about heavier tanks on the VV Gripper, the 510 connector can be a bit wobbly for heavier atomizers. I never use my Chobra or Vivi Nova 3.5 ml tank on it. I stuck a 510/ego adapter with an ego tank skirt (type D cone I think it's called) and with it screwed down it stabilizes it a bit...

    Help VV gripper!

I have both protected and unprotected. My protected batteries are a bit longer and after reading about all the problems people had with the door, I went with the unprotected. Relying on the protection in the device. I haven't had issues, but I guess you never know until it's too late.

    Help VV gripper!

Definitely get flat tops unprotected. The nipple tops and protected 18650's don't fit well. They're just too long and that door is super flimsy.

    Vamo vs Lambo vs?

The Vamo compares very nicely to my Lambo 4. The Variable wattage, the 18650/18350 versatility, and nice solid click on the Vamo is better. The Lambo has a very loud click. The threads on the battery cap aren't quite as smooth on the Vamo and the slight rattle of the battery may become...

Vision Vivi Nova 3.5ml tanks v2.5 from AquaVapor fake or not ?

I have a 3.5 ml Vivi Nova from Aquavaporcig and can also confirm they are genuine.

Same here with the candy bar and Kahlua. That's why I only vape them on rebuildables. Another small price to pay for their extremely tasty juices.

    Mount Baker Vapor freeshipping

LOL, yep already been there with the 15 ml sample which preceded the 50 ml purchase. I had to rewick my Vivi Nova because the candy bar didn't go as well with the next tank of pina colada. This time I am going to vape it on a SS wick and hopefully that will minimize the flavor bleed. There...

You can also use "ECF" for 10%. There is also a code on their youtube videos, "MtBakervid" I think it is. Moo Juice is one of my favorites. It does taste just like strawberry Nesquik. Halfway through a 50 ml bottle with 5 extra shots of flavoring that I ordered a couple of weeks ago. Next...

    Decisions, Decisions.

Totally agree, the VV Gripper is cheaply made, crappy plastic, wobbly 510 connector, and a battery door that is prone to breaking. But I love the form factor that fits in the palm of my hand. I've gone through 3 Lavatubes, though, they're all metal and heavy as a baton. But my first had...

Anybody watching the game and having a good vape

Not invested in the game, just want a winner that can deflate the Notre Dame bubble! A great game so far that goes well with Mt Baker Vapor Irish Cream.

    Decisions, Decisions.

I started with standard Ego batteries, but went immediately to the Ego Twist. I find variable voltage to be important. You can change the voltage depending on the resistance of the atomizer you put on it. With the standard battery, I find only low resistance devices to vape any good...

    Bought my first RBA atomizer

I love the Phoenix RBA also. It's the only dripping atty I use now. There is a thread here on building a vertical wick and coil, it gives you a little more room to work with. I haven't tried more than 5 wraps, but a vertical coil with cotton, cheesecloth, or stainless steel gives a great vape!

    coil length and gauge

2.5 ohms is pretty high for a standard ego battery without variable voltage, you might want to try lower a lower resistance coil below 2 ohms. Also I would recommend not putting RBA's on a standard ego battery, since there is no short circuit protection. I fried a battery when a coil short...

For the Gripper, I use the 510/ego adapter so I can use the cone. The cone helps to stabilize the 510 connection in the Gripper. I screw the 510/ego adapter into the Gripper's 510 connection and then screw the cone down as far as it can go right up against the Gripper, it gives a wider base...

Free from noobie chat, but more questions :D

I have a VV Gripper and I run everything on them, including Vivi Novas, regular and mini. I haven't ever had problems with leaking on any of my VN's. I do use a 510/510 adapter or a 510/ego adapter on all my mods to save the threads on the PV. Doing this also eliminates any of the airflow...

    RBA Question

You've shorted your Ego battery. Mine did the same thing while I was vaping a Chobra and the coil shorted. The Ego battery would fire right away as soon as anything was connected.

    Vivi Nova Rebuild tutorial

I recoiled my VN with 30 g kanthal this morning. I am at 1.5 ohms but have got them as high as 2.4 wrapping around a couple of toothpicks 4-5 times. There isn't a lot of room in the VN head.

Correct Ohm Coil for Vivi Nova V2 on Ego T 900Mah

I recall reading from somewhere around ECF that the Ego non-variable voltage batteries actually put out only 3.3 volts? When I was using Ego batteries, only the 1.8 head was vapeable. I don't like much throat hit either, but the higher ohm heads just need a bit more power to get richer flavor...
