    How to Fix Stuff

I lucked out on this round. The only tool buy was a 10" hacksaw, convenient for slightly tighter spaces (and I was too lazy to go to our camp for my other one [emoji3]).

Looking good... The 22-1/2 elbow let me get a clean connection, maintaining a slight downward pitch. The block is temporary, I'll fill so it's locked in that position. I'll likely added a couple of blocks on the left edge, protection for the slightly oval end, start backfilling from that side.

Almost done with the repair. Last thing is stopping by a different home depot to get a 22-1/2 elbow; the place I normally use only has 45 and 90; 45 is too large a bend though I'm using one for tonight.

It's all done with thin wall, not even schedule 40. The repair is "this close". The homedepot I went to only had 45 and 90 elbows. I've got end-to-end connections, fine for now, but tomorrow I'll go to a different HD to get a 22-1/2 elbow, replace the 45. Right now I have a reverse pitch on...

    How to Fix Stuff

Progress! When enough has been cleared, the crushed and cracked part is obvious. Clean cut with a hacksaw behind the bad section (tape served as a guide). On the right you can see how much the bad piece was broken. Excavated under the end, cleaned it, test fit a coupler that's on one end of...

What it looks like. Far left is the good incoming pipe (doesn't look damaged), what I need to excavate around to cut and attach new pipe. Right of that is where the split and crush damage is. Right of that is a little of the incoming pipe that hadn't been damaged (though it's skewed...

This is downstream from the main distribution box. The box that caved literally only had two, solid, pipes connecting to it. These pipes are just in the soil, not in a gravel bed. They're the feeder pieces before the perforated pipe. Fenced back yard, 4' wide gates, bad access for machinery...

    How to Fix Stuff

Been spending a fair amount of time since Friday working on a really-don't-want-to-learn-this item. A 4" sewer pipe in our leach field bit the dust. This is solid thinwall, not the perforated type. Best I can tell, the original fault occurred a while back, when it seemed we had a small...

Long post - I'm an engineer, like to try and figure out what happens when stuff fails. I'll be sending something like this with a photo and drawing to a guy who knows leach fields, see if he agrees that what I'm thinking makes sense. I've found what looks like fragments of a cap that used to...

No idea where one is. Where I did the initial dig, where seepage was occurring, had a small pan, about 18 x 27 inches, but no top or connections.

The sheet saga continues. Looks like I'm back to the actual base problem point. Within 3' of the fence, angled towards it -hopefully I'll find clean pipe before there [emoji3]

How I spent my off Friday - living the dream! We could tell something was messed up in the leach field, so I spent a lot of time digging today. The "gozinta" pipe (water from the septic side) is deformed, I'm thinking a bit of ground heave from the winter. I've got a call in to a guy who...

    Are you done stocking up?

PM sent - I picked up 26 packs of the 0.5 ohm plus a pair of tanks, before deciding to stick with Vaporesso ccell and my freemax nx2 coils as the "if I can't coil" stash [emoji3] (Happy to post the kanger stuff on classifieds.)

I finally got around to ordering another sxk Haku riviera rdta clone from fasttech. The one I use on the pulse x has been running great, the new one will be for lemon cream on the Alchemists. I used 10 Rewards points, it ended up under $9 [emoji106] On the $ front we did a rebalance a while...

3avape has the ijoy katana mod for $7.29. Built-in 3000mAh battery (I generally avoid built-ins, but that's a decent price). Edit: turns out shipping is over $16 due to the battery (thanks f1vefour!) I did my first run of a P42A in an Alchemist mech squonker. Very good run time before I...

P42As arrived. Liionwholesale's free gift was cool - a 21700 flashlight with an 18650 adapter sleeve [emoji106] P42A is not over-sized - it's barely wider than a 40T, and almost a mm shorter. Here are measurements, multiple cells of each type checked with my calipers: Lishen LR2170SF: 21.8 x...

    Are you done stocking up?

I went for 3 of the p42a from liion. SKD wasn't sure if they'd fit the Alchemist - if not I can use them in the pulse X and a bunch of other mods.
