I'd like to thank you for taking the time to consider ways of making my mod better, I really appreciate it :) This is extremely interesting/useful as well as very inexpensive.
Hopefully it works well for you, let me know what the results are. My personal preference is 5V - 2.5A and above. The 5V - 4A adapter I am currently using is doing its job flawlessly atm. Anything below that just doesn't seem to do it for me (I've tried many different power supplies) even pwm's...
Have to go with singles as well. Less annoyance, less power consumption. less waste of material/juice if anything goes wrong and needs to be redone. More than satisfied with my single coil setups :)
Don't know of any less expensive 1's that put out the same power. If you find any please let me know :)
The 1 you found on ebay is probably the same 1 I purchased. The reason I chose this 1 is because they are from belkin routers/modems which I have worked with before and know to be good...
Thank you, much appreciated, wasn't really sure where I should have started the thread.
Thank you for the compliment on the led :) I have 2 other color led switches to choose from for future builds (1 more blue, 1 green and 1 red) The adapter I used on my 1st project was 5V - 2.5A and it...
Not my 1st, but I decided to make this 1 a bit more aesthetically pleasing. Went with an radio shack hobby box (project enclosure) 127mm x 63.5mm x50.8mm. Used a 510/ego connector from a dead ego battery and a base ring from old kanger tank. Wall adapter used is (5V - 4A) Toggle switch/blue...
I have 2 of them (tobeco) What nic level are you using? It was a noticeable punch when I was using 12mg nic. Dropped down to 6mg and its good stuff now.
Seems like something worth looking into, nice find. I particularly like the ease to which I would be able to rebuild the coil, that the battery has a side charging port and pass-through capability. It's also a really good price. Info much appreciated :)
Wouldn't worry too much atm. I live in the same place as well as ordering alot of items from Florida as well. USPS is incompetent, I have watched items ordered from Fl go from NJ to upstate NY (passing right by where I am only to end up farther away) Watched items ordered from Cali end up in NJ...
Sorry to hear about your bad eby xp's, hopefully things work out soon for you. Most of my ebay xp's have been pretty good and I have only had to file a claim once. Hopefully it stays that way. I actually prefer Ebay for most purchases I make online because of the reasons that KC1BLE stated.
IMO you need to find your motivation. Smoked cig's for 20 years while also being pretty physically active. 1 day I had to start training for a specific purpose and was introduced to vaping coincidentally @ the same time. I began to notice how much better I felt when vaping as opposed to smoking...
If are losing your mind, I guess I am as well :) I will sit at my desk for hours a day and rolls of kanthal making coils :vapor:
Behold! Strain your eyes to view my crappy camera phone pic!
Unless there is a breakthrough in the technology of batteries, they will remain the same size/output. There hasn't been significant advancement in batteries themselves for somewhere around 90 years. The improvements have come in the form of better efficiency of use in battery power available and...
I must agree. My typical process is Bite - Vape - Bite - Vape - Bite - Vape, anything less is just....uncivilized :)
The whole eating thing is so inefficient. I'm working on getting a feeding tube installed :)
