    That's exactly what I said. I was told it was in depth. I didn't think it was like this though.... I'm super upset right now. It's not the amount of paperwork that pitchers me, it's the questions they ask... Wayyyyyyyy too personal.

    No this isn't as easy as that. Literally, I go through the exact same vetting process as the local police. And they are very intensive. I've done my research on it and even called a few buddies that I know who are local CHP's. This isn't a normal background check. They get intimate with your past.

    It's a maintenance job but it's at places that require the same vetting process they use for cops and CHP's. Basically if I can't become a cop (because of background), I can't get this job.
