here is someone charging a bunch of flight batts in parellel using an adapter board, these chargers are seriously powerful
Yahoo Image Search
those boards come basically pre wired you just add your connector of choice(some even have the connectors pre-wired)and plug-n-play
that would be the only thing, you would have to wire up some battery sleds.but it would be easy and straight forward.after you spend a little time making the sleds you could just pop the batts in and plug the wires in.
on the front of the unit you see 2 bannanna female inputs these are your mains...
Hello all, most of you know that I am a relatively new member, and besides being a musician I have a long and involved history with RC helicopters. So obviously this has led me deep into the world of lipos batteries.Once I got into vaping and got my first mod with 18650's I really started diving...
thanks.I noticed the 18650 users dont seem to talk much about IR.where as the rc guys using lipo are fanatical about IR.Guys will send batts back if they dont like the Ir of a battery and they monitor IR constantly during the life of the battery
hello,as usual GREAT stuff. But a question ,in the graph thats V vs Min,whats the reason for the upside down v shape that the min V caused by the pulse (60a)creates?One would think it would be linear but the batt seems to get stronger in the middle of its discharge curve. Is this a case of the...
i dont see what the big deal is if you buy online coils for my subtank are 2.50 each. They last about 3 weeks.Thats .83 a week.If you smoked a pack a day for years whats 83 cents a week.I work on cars all day long and play guitar in a band. The last thing I feel like doing after a ten hour day...
WOW..now I feel at home this is exactly like the rc heli forums
are you actually trying to say that paying more money for inferior equipment is better???The set up I take to work is an MVP2 the original 11W with a miniprotank2 running 1.8 ohm coils hardly a cloud chasing set up.I got the istick...
thanks sometimes you have a different perspective being new to the scene. As I was thinking about this more and the fact I got my 3Li for 75 bucks.last year a week after I got my first ego twist and it ran out of power on the way to work. so I wanted something with more battery.I paid 40 bucks...
I started vaping just about 1 year ago, around Thanksgiving 2014 and sub ohm tanks were just hitting the market(they were a fad and wouldn't last or so they were saying..lol)mods like the MVP 3 and then the PRO at 60 watts were considered "higher"wattage. So now we have 200 watt mods with tanks...
man I am a happy camper and I dont know why I didn't realize this sooner but I have a really nice charger for my rc batts and I can BALANCE charge these 18650.Not only can I charge them faster but I can balance them exactly to each other.god I love being an equipment geek
Now that sounds like the REAL reason for using the term joules although if the e-cig community of manufacturers is anything like the RC heli companies in China its basically a legal free for all and patents are laughable
I have been doing more thinking on this and I think I know the reasons lipo's are not yet mainstream in vaping ...SAFETY.In looking around it seems balance chargers are still way to big to be incorporated into a mod and I think the general public is not ready or willing to take the responsibilty...
I have looked around so forgive me if this has been posted I joined a week ago and everytime I start doing research on topics with this site I see 10 other interesting threads and get completely sidetracked from what I was looking for in the first place :)But anyway I have had my ipv3li for...
before vaping took off huge the main uses for 18650 seemed to be computer batts and flashlights both applications are slow charging and slow steady low amp discharge, now guys are running drippers hitting these batts hard drawing high amps and wondering why they wont deliver
oh I have done what research I could in the weeks leading up to my purchase of the ipv/18650 including talking to one of the guys at the company where I get my lipos and as far as I can tell no current manufacturer is making an 18650 thats rated at more than 30 amp continuous. So these re wrapped...
thanks and yes I have thoroughly learned how to abuse batteries and I have learned what not to do......lol.But until a few days ago both my mods had built in batteries. This is my first experience with 18650 (ipv3li)and I have to say I am quite baffled by the vaping communiy's facination and...
hello all just wanted to say hi.I have been getting tons of info from here but just decided to join.I have been a member of several rc helicopter sites for years and I am actually a rep for several rc heli companies. It seems the e cig forums work EXACTLY the same as the heli forums so Ill fit...
