    Also... Nicotine is only one of a number of tobacco alkaloids. Some of the other alkaloids are actually MAOIs that act in conjunction with nicotine. Nicotine alone, without those MAOIs, is widely considered to be less addictive. Some even dispute whether nicotine alone is addictive at all. :)
