Cerabis Ceramic Subohm tank by ceravape

I spoke at length to the manufacture at a convention and have since been in contact with them trying to resolve the leaking issue some people are experiencing. Would you rather me not?

When you sent it back did you get a replacement? If so did the replacement leak too?

I guess I am just lucky. I have various sub ohm tanks that use pre built coils and I have never experienced any leaking of significance in any of them. I have 5 packs left of 10 packs I purchased of TFV4 quad coils when it was released that cost me ~$30 each and I haven't used that tank in...

Perhaps I wasn't clear either, the "new tank" is not a version 2 of the cerabis it is a completely new design. The pictures I have seen appears to show the tank is smaller in height and diameter, perhaps to fit the new EU regulations of 2ml maximum, but I can't say for sure what the capacity...

I was also informed that ceravape had a return policy of sorts where they had some customers return their ceravape tanks for a new replacement free of charge. Unfortunately even with customer tanks that were supposedly leaking the owners were not able to recreate the leaking the customer was...

It is quite possible that the coil design is what is causing the leaking. Most of the reports of leaking I've seen says the juice flows out of the air slots, so it is fair to assume something could be wrong with the way a coil is seated, the o-ring on the coil, the ceramic inside the coil, the...

I don't know what you paid for your coils but I paid $16 for a 4 pack. $4 per coil doesn't seem expensive to me, especially when mine has lasted for months. A quick google search returns a 4 pack for $12: Ceramic Replacement Coil Heads for Cerabis Tank (4 pack)

Unfortunately they appear to have slightly changed the coil dimensions with the new tank, so we all will have to buy different coils. It is my understanding the coil uses the same technology (no cotton and porous ceramic) they just will not be compatible with other tanks. The tank scheduled...

I've been in contact with the manufacture the last couple of days. I was told that the new tank is on the way soon but will likely be released in small batches so they can monitor the leaking some users are experiencing. They still are not sure exactly why some users have leaking tanks and...

Cerabis Ceramic Subohm tank by ceravape

This is part of the overall problem. The leaking is not easy to recreate and if the owners and designers of the company have not experienced it themselves the problem is difficult to solve. Rather then ignoring the complaints they are taking educated guesses as to what the leaking might be and...

After having spent some time with the owner of Ceravape during the convention in Miami I am confident the reason the posted the video on how to resolve the leaking issue is because they really do hear their customers and are trying to help people fix whatever issue they are having. These people...

I never experienced leaking with the TFV4 either. I haven't bought the TFV8 mainly because I've been on a BFT kick lately. SMOK products are generally good though. I'm not sure what to tell those with leaking issues on the cerabis, I haven't experienced them personally. I'm still leaning...

Ceravape Cerabis - Subohm ceramic tank unboxing

This video shows how to rebuild the tank. It should be noted that you can not completely take down the tank but this video does show removing and replacing some of the O-rings.

No suggestion on improving flavor. I think the flavor is fine in mine although there is a "difference" for sure. I believe the difference is the lack of cotton taste that we are used to, but that is my personal spectulation.

    Fast wicking

Your cotton is wet so it's wicking properly. Not sure how you are getting what you think is a dry hit, the cotton isn't dry.

Don't know. I don't think I ever take 5 second hits. Probably more in the 2 to 3 second range if I had to guess. 5 seconds is a long time.

Are you clearing the condensation daily like I mentioned above? Are you constantly turning the tank on and off creating a suction inside the tank? Don't know. I rarely turn my tank on and off and I have experienced no leaking. I think the problem is the on/off creates a vacuum inside the...
