That's the one I mean. I might be wrong about it. We'll see.
I'm really spoiled already by NoPity. The bottom air works great on it, vape is fantastic, and I never see a drop on the outside. Got a second one along with the Coppervape today. Gonna try a single coil build on it.
Have you tried the included atty yet?
The "silver" is just the bare fine-brushed aluminum, no coating. Big upside is you can make look like new with little effort when you accumulate the inevitable scuffs and scratches. I stripped the plaint off my white original DripBox for that reason. :)
Totally agree.
My guess is that included atty is not going to be so great with the bottom air open. The air ports on the deck are kinda short and I expect some leaking. No matter. Probably works fine with side air. But if I ordered today, I'd go for the mod only at $26. Ridiculously good value.
Finish is great. Edges are generally soft, a bit sharp only around the bottle opening, but that can be easily fixed. Can't believe how nice it is for the money.
Hand check Coppervape which arrived a few minutes ago. Popped on the NarDA I'd already built (haven't tried the included atty yet) and it's working great. Already love it. :)
I was comparing several BF attys so I used a standardized simple build: dual 24g Kanthal 3mm 8-wrap. That was a bit too intense in NoPity, and the coils seemed crowded together in the middle. So I downsized to dual 26g Kanthal 2.5mm 8 wrap (pictured below). This is the build I'm still using and...
You got it, Shawn. Luckily I ordered an iJoy Solo Plus at the same time, $20 plus shipping from Efun.top It's got that irregular shape around the atty, but definitely plenty room for bigger ones.
Well, regular Pico takes a 23mm. Based on photo comparisons, I still maintain the Mega will take a 24mm, possibly bigger if you don't object to the overhang. We'll see.
Anybody get the Pico Mega yet?
Mine should arrive on Friday. Will post when I get it, especially on the atty size question.
FIY, they were in stock at Ecig.com as of 8/22.
That's around my ohm range on singles as well. Good tip about removing one screw. :thumb: I might also do my usual tweak with wire-under-screw type posts. Countersink the deck a bit around the threads under the screw heads to trap the wire better. Been doing that since Kayfun days.
