    Interesting. As I said, the ones I have (Kanger VGO) act just like an unregulated battery (like my V4L skinnies). Starts about 4.05V under load from a Cool Cart and slowly drains down.

    Avid has two sizes, the smaller one doesn't have threads like the EGO sized. Drip Shields - Avid Vaper Please keep us informed on how it goes with the Big Brother. I like the smaller width than the 14500 VV box mods which use a 3 AA box.

    Geez, what are you running on those things, that's a 1/2 volt drop! So far with the Vgo 650, I've measured V droop with a Cool Cart (~3.3 Ohm) -.21, CE2r4 metal case (~3.1) -.23, Kanger XL horizontal coil (~2.8?) -.27 and Wow cart (~2.4Ohm) is -.30. All carts were filled. From 4.25 down to 4.0...

    The Kanger Vgos (from Vapors Heaven and Analog Alternative) are to the original KR808-1 specs, 4.2 hot off the charger. I believe the Igos, Echos and Kgos are the same.     I like the look of the new KR808-DM1, cigarillo size, 480mah and 2 mil cartos. Small enough to still feel like an analog, not a cigar. Speaking of cigars, the 650 VGO is my main PV these days and I wouldn't mind a slightly larger battery (maybe 1000-1300).

    V4L Cool Carts, although supposedly 3-3.2 Ohms seem to run towards 3.2 or higher. They work great on a 5 volt pass through and you don't have to baby them to keep from burning.

    Tried both Kanger horizontal coil and CE2 r4 rated 3-3.2 ohms and neither worked as well as a Cool Cart at 5volts. Both were great at 4.2

    +1 Most of these companies offer sample sizes, it may take a while to work through them, but i's worth it. Once you get into the extracted tobaccos you will find that even the unflavored ones have complexities when you vape them at their voltage/ohm sweet spot. I think they're at their best...
