I've been fully stocked for a long time but have picked up ~desirable~ things here and there along the way. Two months ago Eleaf posted a closeout sale on its Pico Squeeze 2 squonk mods for $25 ea. An avid squonker, I like and use the Squeeze 2 but already have quite a few on hand so was able to...
I use Pico Squeeze 2 squonk mods, they're what converted me to using 21700 batteries. They came with a sleeve that allows use of an 18650 but I hated using it so started buying 21700s, certainly glad I did.
I recently bought six more Squeeze 2's directly from Eleaf while on clearance for $19...
I do the exact same. I've only found one flavoring that can't be stored in the refrigerator, TFA's Bavarian Cream. It separates and forms solids that won't dissolve/remix.
Absolutely. Back in 2014 I had a partial container of two year old PG go bad so I'm not a big fan of long term room temperature storage. I normally buy when on-sale and usually purchase in bulk so long term storage of PG/VG was a concern. Fortunately, I had the space to store mine in the freezer...
Personally I believe ECF will go back to its roots more like it was in the early days. Talented, knowledgeable and experienced people sharing ideas and information while brainstorming solutions to problems of the day. There is power in collective thinking and cooperative effort. Example...
I bought some of their Caramel Wild Wood flavoring six weeks ago. Mixed and aged it tasted just like it should. Other juice vendors should take notice and plan accordingly....;)
A group of us discussed this years ago before stockpiling/storing liquid nic became popular. I think CE is saying that frost free freezers aren't ideal for long term (decades) storage of liquid nic because of the defrost cycle. Frost free freezers go through a daily "heating" cycle that helps...
I researched long term storage of nic back in 2013. Ran across an article by a lab tech who worked for a company that extracted nic and he recommended sub zero (freezer) for extended (decades) storage. It's been seven years for my oldest VG based nic and so far so good. Personally, I'm not sure...
HHV's NETs were indeed unique. If I remember correctly they were the only retail NETs made from super critical CO2 tobacco extracts. The actual tobacco flavor was a bit generic (lacking the highest and lowest flavor notes) but was robust and powerful. IMHO HHV had the best retail NET available...
For flavor, fused ni80 Clapton coils are my preference, and they significantly outlast regular round coils. I bought spools of fused Clapton wire but normally use pre-wound Vandy Vape coils purchased from FT.
Yup, looked nasty but the results were outstanding. The Smoker's St James yielded my all time favorite NET, figures it would disappear before I could stockpile a quantity.
Chocolate, cherry, vanilla.... there are flavors that are difficult to adequately replicate, to suit my taste anyway. I'm still not happy with vanilla and I've tried dozens. Some are just ok but not stellar. I want outstanding! That's what sold me on NETs, the synthetics just didn't do it for me.
Aromatic tobacco isn't really required if you want a "flavored" NET. You can add one or more concentrated flavorings and make a "hybrid NET". Hybrids have a more stable shelf life than NETs made from aromatic tobacco. Sutliff's "Molto Dolce" makes a very tasty NET but the flavor isn't stable...
I've made many different hybrid NETs using "Juicy Peach", "Blueberry", "Cherry", "Pear", and other fruit flavors, they all work well with tobacco. My favorite Hybrid NET uses Vanilla and Caramel flavorings. They only limit to what you can create is your imagination and willingness to experiment!
I make NETs using Pipe tobacco and cigars. I buy both forms of tobacco online from vendors here in the US using Paypal and have the tobacco shipped, no signature required, to my house.... FedEx, USPS and UPS have no issues with handling these shipments. Go figure.
Can't find my camera but I do have a pic from back in 2015 that shows the plastic containers I use. I only had around 6 liters of nic back then but you get the idea. At that time they were stored two deep on the small top shelf of the freezer. I've tripled my stockpile of nic since then and...
