    New Kanger enclosed Coils growing "whiskers"?

    I bought one pack of those coils for use in a mini pt 3 and found they didn' t feed very well at all. Had to take 2 or 3 priming puffs every hit. Go to your local store and buy them out of the old style ones, problem solved :)

    How to mill down grand

    If it's flat to begin with, you should be able to do that with a file in a couple of minutes. Sit your file across both sides of the lip, use long strokes, preferably with a file wide enough to do the whole surface in one pass. No power tools required, very little chance of buggering it up.

    Right now: Mini protank 3 with airflow control valve, custom stainless tank, 2.0 ohm coil, and an 1100 ego :) 12mg diy juice, 30pg/70vg, 10% vanilla, 5% butterscotch, 5% butter rum.

    You know those have poison in them right? They're worse than smoking. You know those don't actually help you quit smoking, right? t still has nicotine, so you're not quitting anything!

    Do I need an ohm meter?

    I'm not an expert by any means, but if you're using wire of known resistance, a mandrel of known diameter, and are keeping your coils over 1ohm, you can be reasonable assured that your coils are pretty close to what you were looking for.

    For all of my "back of the drawer" flavors, my secret technique has been to cut it in half with vg and abouot 20% vanilla. It pretty much overpowers everything, and i don't have to waste a week worth of juice.

    A strange Question...

    I started with 50/50 juice and it was HARSH. Cut it down as much as I could but when i add flavor (i assume it's pg) and ym 100mg nic is pg, the best i can get with 20% flavoring is 32.5pg/67.5vg until i get some of the 2% super concentrates and cut the nic down a little more

    The reason I was looking at the Cool Fire II was because I don't really like the look of box mods, otherwise the MVP would be on the top of my list. As it sits, I can get into a CFII with some batteries for about the same price.

    Hmm. So, i just figured out that with a 2.9 ohm coil (max for coolfire 2 is 3ohm, i believe?) with max 12.5 watts, it will draw 6 volts (all max for the mod) and still only draw 2.1 amps. I realize that maybe the numbers are fudged for some maufacturers, but the cheaper batteries...

    There's a whole boatload of mini torches, bernzomatic style, on fasttech for about $2. I was going to throw one of those on my next order to see if they're any good. Worth the gamble.
