    Fair comment and hands in the air, unless it is something that has a new design I will not do it. It is without a doubt laziness on my part but so many designs are the same old thing. That's not an excuse and you are quite right with your comment, it is something that should be done.

    OK, went over with some 800 grit, cleaned all contacts again and much better. I just saw the magnets and their condition and assumed that was the issue but the advice has helped, probably need to replace the OG contacts now. Thanks for the help :)

    So my little CC hits like a biscuit that has been soaking in hot tea for an hour :( I suspect the magnets are causing the issue as everything else has been stripped and cleaned and looks perfect. Could these be removed or can I replate them in situ or am I up the creek here?

Up close was recorded with the prototype which I did indeed drop, I raised the issue with Lost Vape before the retail version was released letting them know about the drop and where the crack appeared.
