    You probably have loose screws after the coils heated it's common but another thing that mucst be checked after you dry fire and then again after you wick it to make sure you don't push your coils into your posts if you tug on them at all during wicking

    i use my mutation vx4 on mine but you must still visually inspect your atty for coil shorts and for the correct center pin , the smpl mod is not a good mod for a new user at all I always suggest if you start with a mech to use something with top and bottom contacts to avoid the problem with the 510

    If it is a Samsung 25r then a .9 build is well over the safety limits of that battery as it is only a true 20a continuous battery rating (check member @Mooch for a battery safter guilds ) I use nothing under a .4 build in a Samsung out of a dual battery regulated box
