    Breathing problems and flavours.

While not strictly a breathing problem, my case of sinus drainage had been year round.

    Breathing problems and flavours.

I've had lots of problems with post nasal drip...sinus drainage. It has a lot of time effected my ability to speak by clogging up my throat. Same as @stols001, I can't do PG, so I'm 100% VG +/- nicotine content. While I found a prescription nose spray which pretty much stopped the drainage...

    Lost faith in fancy wire

More mass at the same wattage ought to heat up more slowly, than less mass. I guess that assumes similar electrical conductivity and resistance. Otherwise, I'm at the edge of my understanding.

    Lost faith in fancy wire

I recall my dad telling me that fancy fishing lures catch more fishermen than they do fish.

liquid without flavour - i.e unflavoured liquid

I've been vaping unflavored for about a week or a little longer. All VG and 50mg nicotine in MTL fashion. Thought I'd bump my 36mg/ml up to make up for the lack of flavoring. I noticed one immediate benefit. I've had difficulties with sinus drainage. It would begin with my first several...

Is there a difference in pg/ vg quality?

...and the nicotine that goes into e-cig products is ..?

Is there a difference in pg/ vg quality?

Nicotine is usually contained in and either VG or PG base. Each base should be USP. But is there really any such thing as USP nicotine apart from the base liquid?

Is there a difference in pg/ vg quality?

While PG and VG are different from each other, each on their own is very consistent as long as they are USP grade or equivalent in Europe, etc. VG may be created via different processed, but from what I understand, it doesn't make a lot of difference in the end product.

Why do sub-tanks taste so much better than mtl

Thanks for you comment R7. It seems to be a common misnomer that Sub-Ohm and MTL are mutually exclusive. I promise that is not the case.

email reply from the manufacturer as shown in the preceding photo... Subject: Re: Electrical Ceramic Heater for E-Cig Dear Dick, Sorry, we dont have this kind of tube shape heater in stock now. Is cup shape heaters also work for you? We have a lot of cup shape heaters for heating herb or...

    [Edited] vaporizers for DIY heat-not-burn?

The thermal conductivity of the ceramic tube could be critical. If it is too low, there could be a long ramp up time.

    [Edited] vaporizers for DIY heat-not-burn?

...not sure how to qualify that. It may depend upon the moisture content. No doubt with tobacco there are constituents other than those we may get through vaping.

    [Edited] vaporizers for DIY heat-not-burn?

'If' the ceramic cylinders shown above work, the associated costs can be relatively inexpensive...depending on taxes at any given location. 'Stuff Your Own' is where one purchases filtered tubes and uses a hand-ratchet machine to insert the tobacco. It's basically the same system that the...

    [Edited] vaporizers for DIY heat-not-burn?

Ceramic Tube with Notch-Type Heating element, but larger and longer, Connections look compatible with most attys. Use conventional cigarette or 'Stuff Your Own' (much less expensive)...maybe add a little VG to the tobacco. Looks like they could work well with convention VW devices dialed down...

Re-building a stock vertical coil using the notch coils....

Good question! I considered ordering Notch Coils, but as best I can remember, the large diameter nixed it for me.

Phlegm in lungs after 3 years of vaping

In my case, I found a lot of mucus in my throat in the mornings (after vaping some) and at other times. I decided it was too much when it interfered with my ability to talk. Relief for me was found with Azelastine HCL, a prescription nasal spray. It is an antihistamine that works locally. It...
