Back to DotAIO, when boro was based on DNA60, DotAIO had something special. Nowadays with Dicodes EC23 and soon Evolv DNA80C much of the point of DotAIO is gone. My Critival C-Bot is 5mm lower than the DotAIO, but of course also comes with a price tag. I still like my DotAIO's, ergonomically...

I plan to do this on BB1 when I build BB2. The BB1 has soldered cable lugs, but I like these much better.

lol no, and it was more than tacky enough, that's what gave me trouble, would have given me more time with slow gluing. But, I'm well on my way to cutting out the next one, this time I'm going to use tape as a bit of stiffener. 0.7mm foam moves in all directions without it, I found out.

Good afternoon folks, The roads to Rome were not built in a day, my foam glue project failed. Maybe the price to pay with gel glue (yep, I used what I had) and thin parts of foam. Well, spray glue on shopping list tomorrow. I have just enough foam for another try lol

It looks formidable with Studdy covers. Yup, atty selection for DotAIO is limited, I myself have three mods but only one atty I like, so I will buy Sturdy One RBA when the next drop comes.

Damn, alot thst will be in the air, I also bought those in 0.65mm tickness: I am going to make these rubber gasket which are located by the screen and up/down switch. 0.75mm can be a bit too thick, so I ordered 0.65mm which is a bit safer.

I don't know if I have posted these connectors before, but they are called solder tags. In this case they are for M2, with 2.2mm hole, the smaller holes are for soldering. They don't make the mod any better, but it does look a bit better than the normal ground connections we usually use, kinda...

It's getting close to drops from Centenary Mods and Sturdy, I'm standing by Centenary, batch 3 is much more interesting because then there will be SS Nano, a new deck, and certainly more drip tips. Sturdy is different, I'll have the Sturdy One RBA. I think there are possibilities for Atmizoo's...

Here a while ago I was talking to Rob from StealthVape, wondering if he was going to make a new batch of 18650 battery tybe. It was doubtful he said, his competitor had stolen most of the battery design he had. Asked him when he would get the wire in again, it was uncertain, it was tough...

Pack to pick up tomorrow, nothing special, 6 bottles of IVG Gold Tobacco (supersweet virgina that holds 1 atty before it need a new rewick), and two packs of Freemax Tea cotton, the last one I'm looking forward to trying, heard a lot about FreeMax Tea cotton in coils. Funny thing about IVG Gold...

I forgot and found out now that I had a DNA75C in the shopping cart as well, so it will probably be a Grus with a DNA chipset inside. I’ll take it as a Lost Vape double project

I also bought a pair of these in case one day I'm going to make something where the screen has to be moved a long way: https://www.stealthvape.co.uk/product/evolv-dna-8-pin-ffc-ribbon-cable-extension/

I did some shopping from 2F Deal tonight, and from StealthVape, one DNA60C Chipset in the order. They haven't got Usb-C yet, but that's life, can't always get everything.

Good evening folks, After I bought the two Staedler aluminum rulers I have to say it was a good purchase, I got to use them on this cut-out: Work for tomorrow, buy spray glue, and glue together the two foam parts. (I am a little proud that I managed to guide the knife so well with the ruler...

If I have to complain about Thelema Solo, it is the adaptation of the battery cover, which is very wobbly, and the magnets seem to be of the weak variety. Inside, it was very reasonable in absolutely everything. It probably won't be many days before I insert the DNA 100C, knowing my own...

I am going to replace the Quest chip for the DNA 100C, I was surprised how easy it was to strip down to the fact that the chipset could have been replaced. Philips P0 and Torx TX4 are the tools needed. Under the 510 there are two screws that hold the frame in place, the rest of the screws are...
