Sounds like 801 threading (though I could be wrong). They aren't real popular anymore. With them, you can use any 801 carto / atty (not a lot out there).
Or, you can get an 801 to 510 adapter for about $2.50 (510 being the most popular threading). That would then open you up to a lot of more...
I'm not familiar with the brand. Can you describe the thread on the battery (or a picture would make it even easier). Are the threads on the battery male or female?
Something to also point out: Some juices will require a "steep" to make the flavors really come out. Steeping just just letting the juice chill in a cool, dark place (like a cabinet, I use a cigar box)... generally for around a week.
Some say you can speed up this process by letting the juice...
Thanks, Java_Az, that's exactly what I wanted to hear.
The DNA spec sheet says that it requires a battery with a minimum of 5 amps continuous discharge, hence the 7C battery and the 6C protection circuit.
So, sticking with the 2 batteries from my original post (Polymer Li-Ion Cell: 3.7V, 750mAh (603048-10C), 2.7Wh, 7.5A rate --- UL listed), will 2 of these protection circuits work? Protection Circuit Module (PCB) for 3.7V Li-Ion Battery (6.0A limit)
The specs on the battery page says it...
I have my ego battery and whatever I'm vaping attached to it either in my pocket, or my locker at work.
I also carry a compact camera case that will (surprisingly) hold 4 10ml bottles of juice, 2 mini vivi novas and 2 or so XL cartos (mainly for backup).
The camera case, when full, is about...
Sorry, I was using the term stacked as "physically on top of eachother." The batteries in the link are battery packs, like what's inside of the plastic of a cellphone or camera rechargeable battery. Normally in the mod world, when you are talking about "stacking batteries" it means to cylinder...
The only protection that the DNA has seems to be for the chip itself, not the battery, so I'll be getting the protection PCBs as well. The site seems to be down at the moment, so I can't check them out.
I'm looking into a pair of these batteries in parallel for a DNA 12 build. Having never used packs like this, I have a few questions.
1) Can I "stack" these two batteries on top of each other to save space?
2) Can I put the PC Board for the DNA on top of one as well? Maybe with the DNA being in...
I may be relatively new to vaping, but I've always been a "tinkerer." I've been looking into and researching building my own mod since I ordered my first Evo. I'm no stranger to basic electrical work. I did a lot of computer modding and car audio type things with I was younger, so wiring...
I asked Madvapes about the ohm meter in their ohm box, and now they have a new product!
Ohm Meter Display and Control Board
Still have to have 2 displays, 1 for volts and one for ohms, but I kind of like the idea!
Look for flashlight holsters. The one that I remember seeing was a thick nylon cloth tube with a belt loop. Just be careful if you use a DCT or any other kind of carto tank that is just held on with o-rings ... don't want to grab the tank, pull it up and dump juice everywhere.
I finally for some 1.8ohm heads for my 3.7V ego Pv and HOLY FRACK, what a difference! Its giving me the heat I missed from my boge 2.0s / SmokTech 1.7s, plus a HUGE amount of vapor! Only probably is that I have a slight cold and can't taste anything, so I can't say how they taste =[
After digging around, the lavatube mini is about 15/16" diameter and 3 3/4" long, that seems to be about perfect for me. Is the provari really that size?
A few week into vaping, I have the bug for an APV.
What I'm looking for:
Under $100 (doesn't have to include batteries)
Removable Battery(ies), at least 600mah
Tube style
Not HUGE
If not VV, able to kick later
Not necessary, but awesome if it is:
Variable Voltage
Can read the Ohms of a...
