    That is what I have been using on all mine, but for tight fits I think the silicone is easier to mold into small spaces.:)

    Expanding or swelling of cotton or hemp is commonly given as a reason for choking the wick and dry hits. Big myth, IMO. If it doesn't wick, you wrapped it to tight to start,:) has nothing to do with expansion or swelling. In lab test using the kerosine lamp method, could never replicate that...

    Twine for thru the coil wicks. Fiber for around the coil wicking, but can also be used thru the coil. Cloth for rebuilding cartos. Replace the cotton diaper with a hemp diaper. When I get around to it, I will find other uses....:vapor:

    The RY1 is the best base for menthol. IMO.:) In fact IMO RY1 is my base for all tobaccos, I mix it by the 1/2 gal.:D
