    I am really bummed out. My ECD meter got fried. Testing a .8ohm on the Raptor at 25 watts, a spark and then that God awful smell of burnt electronics. Now it just flickers permanent readings and no current goes thru it.:mad: SJ where are you on the new model?:oops:

    Wired the 1s6s like we do in RC to monitor each cell. When the DP3T on off on switch is set to the imput side, the meter reads cell 1v then cell 2v then the total v of the two, both unloaded and loaded. Excuse the hand drawing.:)

    Thanks mamu, I went ahead and ordered the 6.2v zener and will replace the 5.6v and also use it on the new Raptor coming.:) I used a 2 wire meter on the first one, but on the second I will wire a 1S-6S voltage reader so it will show each cell and total.

    By vertical channels you mean the juice channels? IMO not necessary, I have to pack it tight to keep it from flooding. :) Got six going with R41. From 1 ohm to 1.8ohm. If i pump the watts up it actually boils the juice back out the vertical channels and down the vertical coil. 24 watts on the 1...

    Setup a second Russian with a 1ohm R41. Wrapped at 2mm dia to reduce clogging. Am I the only one still using the R41? This new set up is hitting very good on my weekender Raptor at 22watts.:)

    See for yourself. Russian 1.3 ohm R41 at 5.02v.. Imput volts at 7.47v when fired goes down to 7.42/3. :) Clic pic for video.

    That is ok also just never use both at a setting that will go over the limits of the source. A long time ago I picked up a 12v 5 amp with 4 outlets.:)

    ;) I have a meter connected to a battery and I get two readings, one static and one under load when I press the fire switch. Have no idea what you mean by the delta,,, battery input between pre-fire and post-fire

    It was maybe half an hour since I had ck the imput before it started to flash and flicker on output. Anyway I ck all possible shorts and am giving it another test before switching diodes.:)

    IMO I would sooner play Russian roulette than vape a .36 ohm coil.:) A few doctors here should explain what dry hits are chemically, probably as bad or worse than an analog hit and I won't even get into battery safety.
