The IGOs, just drill a hole thru the bottom of the center pin. Then you wrap your pos coil leg on the pos post screw instead of thru the horizontal hole, leaving the horizontal hole in the pos post free for juice to come thru from the bottom. You may have to shorten the pos screw a bit so it...
Just my personal opinion and the capillary action lab tests I have done. Not taking flavor in account, the following are in order of best wicking:
1 Ramie Top (want to try ramie fiber)
2 Hemp Fiber
3 Bamboo Aunt Lydias
4 Cotton
5 Rayon
6 Linen
7 Jute
I have half a dozen IGOs and a couple A7s drilled out for bottom feeding and am curious what else others have done. Seems strange FT hasn't come out with a bottom feeder.:)
All my Taifuns are firing fine and my floating pin 510s are fine. This is something I now know happens on the DNAs. Since most people change the batteries they just never notice it. Removing the battery resets it and all is fine.
All my DNAs 2 (20s) and 3 (30s) tend to lock into a ohms reading and sticking there. If I change the RBA to a different ohm the screen keeps reading the old RBA resistance. The only way I have found to correct this is a hard reset, disconnecting the battery. This is a PITA as all my mods have...
I have the voltage meter on battery ground. So far the small Fet is working OK. I have some of these that I may try.
Fet
Some one else recommended this fet on another thread to be used as a fire switch. I don't understand all the specs so I do not know if it is better than Baps for our use...
PSMN1R2-25YLC,115 NXP Semiconductors | Mouser
I used this Fet that Bap recommended with the 47K wired just like Baps drawing. Removed the wires from my original switch and soldered them together one (+) goes to the Vin and the other to the zener and the zener is getting the same full voltage...
Mine is working as per Baps drawing that seems to be the same as yours. I did not put a kill switch. Since mine is on a lipo I do not have the P-Fet. Vaping it now to see if it quits firing at 6.6V.:) I left the 6.2 zener on pin 5 connected to Vin.
Depends on the voltage:
At max 6V. .3 ohm is 20 amps 120 watts
At min 3.3V, .165 ohm is 20 amps at 66 watts.
Don't know why you would want a max resistance but probably around 5 ohms would still produce some vapor at 6V and 7.2 watts.
Putting this together I just realized that using this with a push button switch, it is both a master and a fire switch. I can just remove the fire switch I am using and connect the zener directly from Vin to give me LV cutoff.. :)
Ditto: My 20 amp 6v raptor is more than I will ever use.:)
Fact is the only advantage to me over a DNA 30, is that I can get lower voltage on the raptor.
Switch
I am using this 10 amp clicky on my raptor and so far it seems to work fine. Since this is used for a master on and off, there is no gap spark as you are not using it to fire. It should handle 20 amp flow with no problem.
The Judco switch is one of the only small push button switches...
Welcome back.
3D printing is in with high watt DNA boards.
