    Got back from a 14 day trip and my raptor with a 4200mAh 60C lipo pack had discharged the batteries while sitting idle. Is there anyway to prevent this or should I just install a power on/off master switch? Battery pack was below limits and had to be jump started to get it to charge again...

    I wash all my organics with dish detergent or oxiclean, just rub it into the material with my fingers and rinse good. Then boil in a pot with distilled water. For hemp I boil for 3 one hour boils changing the water. With the ramie I only boiled once as I saw nothing come out in the detergent...

    I do not use silica, except if I go into a shop and try juices on their demos. All juices I have liked in a store on silica were much better when I got them home on organic wicks. Besides all my lab wick tests showed silica a very poor wick (capillary action). Would not keep a kerosene lamp test...

    I boiled it for 30 min just to sterilize it. Don't know who's hands or little feet could have been touching it before getting to me. I know the coil probably sterilizes it, but who knows what other organic material might be in there.:)

    Another advantage oh ramie. .6 ohm triple braided 28g coil in Igo L dripper with ramie. First pic 12 drops juice. Wet. Second pic after vaping for a while almost dry white and just a hint telling me it needs some juice. With cotton it would have burnt this dry, at 25 watts.:)

    Enhanced to me also means true flavor besides more flavor. The ramie is true and more flavor than any wick I have used, but we all taste differently. I was once a SS man, even brought the 500 mesh to vaping and now I can't stand the taste SS gives to my juices.:)

    Pure = adds no significant taste to the juice.:) Also, ramie is such an efficient wick that it can keep up with the coil and you get full flavor with no hint of over heating. This really shines at high wattage.

    These are two of my favorite ramie setups on the taifun gt. Dual coil and single coil with ramie thru the coils and over the top. The over the top, I have been doing for years when I first got into cotton, the Chinese later called it a flavor wick.:) Long time ago.

    Not so easy with the wife's hair dryer. Then I cut the wires flush from the board so that made the neg too short. My first soldering stuck out the back of the board so it stuck out and the back would not slide in. Had to solder the wires to the side. Finally figured it all out and got it right....:)

    Yep, thanks. And for some reason the screwdriver set starts a T5 instead of T3. We ordered # 633 instead of #636. Good thing you sent me a spare..:)
